So petn had a point, why don't we discuss things? So here's something to discuss. This could fail, or lead to an interesting debate.

What is your intepretation, and thoughts on the subject matter in the song, or the song itself? Mods delete this if it's a subject you don't want a discussion on.
My own thoughts are that the song is trying to convince people that suicide is wrong, but can be a solution if there's a pain that you can't see an end to; but when you are young (The main character appears to be 17) then why leave this life so early, when there is the rest of your life (referred to as a "song" during this song) to face.
