It depends how quick your internet is too.

Never heard of Windows Explorer being used as a web browser, but trains under 1 sec are piece of cake with Internet Explorer (IE) ctrl + tab indeed

In vista and XP, windows explorer and internet explorer are the same program. Though in vista, they have two different sets, and depending on your default browser, any URL directed from there will be redirected to your default browser.

Here are some good browsers to try out.
    -Safari 4 demo. http://www.apple.com/safari/download/
    -Firefox http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/
    -Google Chrome http://www.google.com/chrome/index.h...&utm_medium=ha

Safari and Chrome can launch trains just as fast as Opera, and are overall much safer and faster browsers then Opera could ever hope to be.
You just have to learn the hot keys.

Ah, for Win7 beta at least I knew it was possible to reroute from any window to your default browser, but it's not actually possible to browse IN WE, only IE or others. Oh, ans why do you criticize Opera? It's by far the most stable browser I've ever come across, Safari keeps on making stupid decisions putting it into a everlasting reload-loop and chrome... I just didn't like that one very much Safety of browsing in opera is just as good as any other as well, ad blocking, script blocking or any other malware protection available in the others are also there in opera.

For link to opera which HBB so conveniently let be of adding

    http://www.opera.com/

and a nice substitute to all the western "mainstream" browsers is

    http://www.maxthon.com/

(yes I know this was OT and should probably have been in it's own post, but I'm still certain that you can't browse the web from WE, but get redirected elsewhere)

You can explore the web in Windows Explorer on any windows operating system, as long as you don't have a default browser.

I never liked Opera in the least. It's slow. It has few add ons, and is as bulky and inconvenient to look at as IE3.

I like the new Safari in the same way as I like Google Chrome. it's fast. It's got a very sleek design, and it does what I need without a bunch of extra.

I like firefox, but, I don't use it for a general browser. It's got add-ons and community, but I just want a browser that will load a massive page in .1 seconds, and Chrome/Safari do that well, while Opera and Firefox tend to lag behind for a very long time.

I will not say Opera isn't stable, because it is. I am just saying that the average person wont need to create 8000 tabs. I have had 400+ open on chrome, and it has ran completely fine for me.

Speed and power - Safari, Chrome.
Fun, and add-ons - Opera and Firefox.
The Bus that is tough, but that breaks down constantly - NEtscape, Internet Explorer.

I use firefox because it was the first with tabs and has the best add ons. I will admit that it's not the stabilist (not a word??) but it is good for your every day needs. Not necessarily good for noble trains but at the moment I couldn't care less

With Google Chrome and Opera, i've sent out 4 within 500ms. Back before the rule with the timings for Noble Trains.

Am I not right in thinking there has to be 109ms in between each attack?
youd still be able to send your 500ms train.

uhm, 4 attacks can go in 150ms and be legal, that is 150ms total, not between each, so by any definition 500ms is more then legal enough Between each attack there doesn't have to be anything at all, as long as there aren't 4 attacks going from the same village in 149ms or less. 3 attacks can go off in 20ms and it'd still be legal if the 4th was 130ms later (making time from #1 to #4 150ms) With a 5 noble train the time between #1 and #4 and #2 and #5 would then have to be 150ms or more and it'll be legal.
