    Default Tribal Wars GFX Worm

    ~THE TRIBAL WARS GFX WORM~

Welcome the the Signature Worm. Time to be a part of something big.

    ~What is a Signature Worm?~

A Signature Worm is a collection of signatures that are placed after each other horizontally to make one long signature.

For this to work, each of the signatures submitted must blend perfectly with the previous one signature and no clear transition should be visible.

    ~Rules~

    - Your Addition must be of 200px height
    - You need to claim the next spot in the worm by writing something along the lines of 'I'm next' or 'Now its my turn.' Be creative.
    - You can only keep your claim for 48hrs, after which the next person in line gets the claim
    - Every signature should blend in perfectly with the previous signature, no transition should be visible
    - The signatures must be uploaded as a .png, with uploading as a .psd optional (to help the next Signature maker)
    - Until a viable method is decided upon to keep the Worm in its entirety, the signatures will be posted below, with the creators name beside it

NB: The border on the first sig does not need to be constant, it can be blended out as to the desire of the signature maker.

Remember, this is not a competition, just a giant collaboration.

    ~How do I contribute?~

    - First, make a claim
    - Then, wait your turn in line
    - Once it is your turn, grab the .png file (or the .psd file, if supplied)
    - Create a document of 200px height, with your desired width plus the width of the previous sig.
    - If the .psd is not supplied, place the previous signature on the right and lock it as the top layer, and make your signature
    - If it is supplied, duplicate the layers into the right of the document (optional lock), but ensure that the original image is on the left at the end
-Place a ruler to show the separation between your signature and the next
-Once done, crop to your sig by using the above ruler line

NB: These instructions work with photoshop. If someone could tell me how to modify them for GIMP it would be much appreciated

So you basically just blend the edges of each signature? (I'm not in but it's just a ?)

    I don't think you've missed anything yurtles ;P

I would love to do a meepit one, although I'm not confident enough with my skills to make a claim yet ;D

I think I'll make a skeleton-sorta of it before-hand to make it all nice, then make a claim when the worm seems right :3

@Absol. Yes, you do do that, but it's also better if you carry across colour schemes and ideas...

... Say if someone did a rocket firing from Right to Left, then the person next in line to make a signature would get the smoke of the rocket and might decide to USE it in his/her signature in some fashion. It's that use and the exploration of those types of ideas that make Graphics Worms so awesome ;3

I'll give it a go, never done anything like it before though and I'm a GIMPer, I'll try and make it easy to work off the .png though.

Can it be any renders? Or no renders, only defaults, or a specific theme, etc?

It can be anything you want, absolutely anything (as long as the dimensions are correct and it blends with the previous signature ;3)

Also, try to accommodate for the person coming after you in some way; this is a teamwork thing(y) :3

And do we put our names on our sections somewhere or leave it blank?

Up to you, if you want you can put it there so people know that it is you who did it.

I think we leave it nameless.

People'd know who did what piece on the Claim list :3

Also I think it'd look alot better without people's names along it (nods).

/Edit: And you've got yurtles' answer too >.<

I have the .xcf file (GIMP) If the next person wants it, otherwise if you are ps you will have to work off the .png (It should be pretty easy going from the white, hopefully).

Edit: Never mind that I'm a numpty. I closed GIMP without realizing I only saved the .png, not the .xcf being an idiot sucks.

Next time, make sure the original image is on the top left, you edited it a bit ;)

What's the pixel border size being used for the last two?

Also, might think about claiming the next one, unless absol or someone else is already hard at work ;3

    Uhm...I..don't...know XD

Can't you make a black box along the bottom, and drag it off the image until it looks even - thats what I do

No-ones claimed it, so all yours

Harbringer, I wasn't expecting to like that when looking at the 2 separate images, because its just a white space between, but it does look nice.

But please for people in the future, do not just use block colourings for blending, it looks quite good in this case, but if it is used every time it will get annoying :P

Put me down for after nindel
