In-game images within the forum

Before this last update when i wanted to display an in-game tribalwars image within my tribes forum i used to write, for example...

[img]graphic/unit/unit_spear.png[img]

However since the update to version 4.5, all these links written this way have stopped working. A message is now displayed instead saying "invalid image".
The other way of writing these links to display the images still works, however this shorthand version does not.

This way of showing the image still works.
[ img]http://en17.tribalwars.net/graphic/unit/unit_spear.png[/img]

However you didn't actually have to put the http://en17 etc into the bbcode, you could use the shorthand version, this meant you could write something and it would be universal for all worlds. Obviously you then didn't have to change the world prefix every time the information was uploaded to a new world.

So does anyone know why this "shorthand version" does not work anymore ?

You can still access the images of world 17 even if you're not on w17, so they're still universal accross worlds.

Yes i understand that but writing [img]graphic/unit/unit_spear.png[img], within my tribe's own forum doesn't display an image anymore, like it did before the last update.

I was wondering why it didn't work anymore,.

The limitation was added to fix a security issue.

Just use the 'replace' function in any popular text editor.

Replace 'graphic/' with 'http://en17.tribalwars.net/graphic/'
