you probably should have put this in the ingame moderation forum but if you would like to PM me with what you were warned about i could probably show you a quote from the rules that it falls under.

but why would you want to worry about the warning it puts no block mark on your record. as many players with much more seirous marks have gone on to be quite respectable and i don't think getting a warning would be a resaon to disquallify you from applying to a staff job but don't take my word for it.

I got infracted last night, appealed and no response as of yet.

The annoying thing is I put 3 hours in to an Ingame mod application, and now because of the infraction the App. is most likely invalid.

Y'know when they say lightening hardly ever hits the same place twice, well yes, it has happened before too.

One infraction seldom affects an application in any major manner unless it's a serious rule violation. An occasional infraction for spam or offtopic can usually be overlooked; problems mainly arise if there's several.

I dug around for a quote from last February that I think explains things quite well.

As you (hopefully) realize, it'd never work.

Is swearing a serious infraction? Even if you ******* it out?

Yes, starring it out, abbreviating it, or any other method other than just simply using another, less profane word, is against the forum rules, and more than likely will result in an infraction for you.

Taken directly from the forum rules....

Quote:
Extreme content
Anything deemed politically extreme, pornographic, illegal, or unsavory in any way is prohibited in this game whether posted or referenced. Racist or ethnic bashing comments are forbidden even if used in jest. Mentioning drugs is allowed, but comments that play down the use of illegal drugs or promote the use of said substances are strictly forbidden. Please note that starring out characters like "F*ck" does not make it any less a swear word. it is still perfectly understandable and still intentionally offensive, and thus is forbidden in all forms. This is Similarly the case for Acronyms such as GTFO or STFU. the meanings are known, and depending on the context are again infractable offences.
Starring it out will earn you an infraction if we would normally punish for the word in question. The rule of thumb should be that if you aren't sure whether or not a word will get you infracted, then don't write it, then check with your forum mod / elder for future reference.

You should ask all the people who have reported me unfairly as there have been so many of them.
Your answer will lie there my friend.7

On the point that Atlantia made :

Do not believe this as i have checked with mods of certain posts are allowed, they have said yes, and then i have been infracted for doing so.
You must learn how to first play like a pro like me, then you must learn how to think like a pro and get around the circumstances.
If you have any questions, PM me.

It's your fault most likely if you leave something to be interpreted as something and it gets interpreted as something else like abbreviations and starred out words

if you ask a mod can i curse on the forums they will say no some are more lenient than others about abbreviations and staring but other mods higher in the CoC can still infract for things they think are out of line (aka elders and admins)

tis best to just obey the rules than to try and find ways around them.
