Anyway, that was a bit unfair of Lazy. I'm sure part of this is a certain element of SE wanting to do their own thing to make the game more interesting to them again...kind of like those folks from FF awhile back. We were critical of them...at least I know I was...but I kept it to myself.
But it's tough to leave a tribe and do your own thing, for a good variety of reasons. When my former friend Hudsun and I were talking about forming our own tribe, I became really torn when it came time to make my decision as to what I was going to do. Obviously I didn't leave...but when you have so many different forces expecting different things...sometimes you just...get frustrated and end it.
