I've even found 10 pages of results all using the abbreviation WTF when I did a search for 'what the frack' on one of the sites. I'm sure that there are 'masses' out there that created and subsribed to those sites. But if you really want to define the rules of TW based on what any hack can get a search to say by tailoring it properly I'm sure you'll soon be flooded with plenty of justifications to do anything or ban anything.

You said you were searching for "What the frack" and it was abbreviated on some sites to WTF, that is completely different to searching for WTF, and finding the majority ('the masses') referring to it as "what the frack". For example, if I search "what does mean", I get generally get results saying the given meaning. I do get results saying Advisory Service for Squatters. Yet if I search Advisory Service for Squatters, I do get the abbreviation ass.

If you also notice, in game (which is what I mod) WTF is allowed. So if have a problem with people banning it when you abbreviate "What the frack" go take it to the forum section.

You're simply arguing semantics to justify why one random search gives the end all and be all of popular opinion. Sure, discredit the word 'meaning', how about trying 'definition of wtf' on a multiple search engine query tool and see how much cleaner it is. Certainly not the masses anymore that you proclaim. I'd even be willing to wager that the 'masses' use the word 'definition' when searching for the meaning of something online.

You'll be taken a lot more seriously if you actually link to your sources instead of asking people to go find it themselves.

so, if someone says TL;DR should they be punished for abbreviating Too Long, Didn't Read?

eg i doubt i am alound to spell the sh*t using sh*lt and saying i missed spelled silt am i even though i can say that is what i mean

Is abusive language in emails to a single person permitted? I only ask because I got an email that was very abusive. If it is illegal, how do I report it?

You can report abusive PMs, yes, if it's using one of TWs built in message systems. External emails are beyond our control however.

For forum PMs click the , for ingame mails click the 'report this message' link.

I must add here, ive noticed, while reading all three pages, that alot of people are doing this 'what if bla bla bla' . well, sorry to break the news to you, there is no what if.

the rule is very simple, and is so for a reason.
No swearing, and no abbreivated swearing.

I noticed the post about using codes for words. that would simply be pointless, as the reciever would not understand, and if you get a kick out of using code words that only you understand, good luck to you.

The post about 'what the fruit' , why would you say that? that's not even grammatically correct. thats just like saying 'who the spanner' , its really pointless.

Come on, really, the majority of you sound young, trying to find your way around rules and bend the rules, my question: why?
why would you want to find a way around it? what would you really achieve? oh man, you can say what the fruit and who the spanner to people, woohoo. lol

Leave this topic be, its getting really pointless now.

I have been playing this game quiet a while and have seen the rules changed many times. I wish only runscape might of had these rules ;). I disagree with the post before me. I know i am young compared to you but i defininately now there is no 'what ifs' in a game. In real life there are none but in this it all depends on the moderator dealing with the issue. Just like in real life the sentence all depends on the Judge even though there is no 'what ifs'. If you want any of the answers to any of your questions you need to use common sense. Of course it does not mean that you should not listen to the rules but rather use the rules and advice for your questions from moderators and senoir player then apply that to your common sense. (i don't want any comments about what if he/she had no common sense
-_-) This will answer any questions because I would hope most you know right from wrong.

Who the spanner!?

If you say what the fruit, just write it out in full on the forums, in game as said, it's less important as we allow wtf.

If they are swearing on the forums, use the report message button (). If it is via in game messages use the "Report" button found under the text. If it is in your tribes forums then submit a support ticket and see what comes of it. If it is not on tribalwars.net however, like a moderator has previously said; it cannot be dealt with.

I am pretty positive hell is allowed, if not then I am doing something wrong.

Also never heard of WTA before, aside from Women's Tennis Association.

ADMIN: REMOVED W%^&KER FROM PROFILE. What about this one. Admin removes the word from a profile and then puts it back in. So in editing the profile, admin has broken the rules

A moderator wouldn't put that text in the profile, it's something a player did.

In game yes. Forums, you should ask there.

Also for those who keep asking about the forums. Go post in the forum section.
