Clippings from the Claw: Best Tribe of 39

Ok people, let's get those sticks out of our ingame bickering on W39, stop running off to spam the new worlds, and bring some LIFE back to the W39 forums. We can't just have our mod sit around with nothing to do, when we have a whole host of forum spammers/trolls and the odd subtle ban-evading post at our disposal :icon_biggrin:

So, without further ado, I am going to run off a large list of tribes, past and present, and give a HEAVILY BIASED view on them, and decide for myself after this on my favourite (I am starting this thread having no Omens to suggest which tribe I think deserves this title :icon_wink:).

Ok, let's start off with the obvious.

Random.
Arguably the best premade I have come across in a long time talent-wise. Dominated the core after a few early fights, and gave the most entertaining PnP displays when arguing with/fighting ingame with the tribes Bunny, ID and Geico.
I dislike their duke for personal reasons, but I am not one to hold grudges. This tribe was a great talent, and the fact that the rank 1 player of today originated there, and was pretty much having a 2 way contest for rank 1 all of the time up until the Xalenryoh account fell behind, suggests that they had the most talented group overall. However, they did not show a great war after ID - they did little past this point, except to help take out PoP!/Geico, and then mass-deleted, leaving the cer-berus account with hundreds of villages to munch his way through. The speed at which this happened being rather impressive.

Pwny.
They came. They saw. They had fun. They left. Not really much to add to this one - I remember they got gangbanged early on, and I think I am right in saying LA led them; I would have liked to see an LA tribe lasting longer.

ID.
Showed a great fight against Random, both internally and on the PnPs. Although they lost, due as much to inactive leadership as to Random having better talent at the frontlines, they put up a greatly amusing fight.

Bunny.
One of a kind. They amused me greatly a lot of the time - very gracious in defeat to Random, when they lost the spear-time war, and some restarted to form NOB!!, which has lasted to this day. As a couple of their original members are still there, including the right-hand man of the original leader, I would say that they should be up at the top somewhere. Amusing people, great talent.

Geico.
They would have been great, had it not been for the forum presence of the duke painting a big red circle on the back of the tribe tag. As (I think I am right in saying) Nauz once put it, "Geico isn't a tribe - it is a group of players sharing a tag". They lasted longer than expected, and lasted through a gangbang attempt. They merged in to WOW without doing their research (the duke of WOW at that time was a friend of mine, and we were already planning the -V-/WOW merge before that happened - and funnily enough he is my usual coplayer now), and ended up with Random launching at them, and a declaration race by both sides for the PnPs. Then I recruited the WOW members from the newly formed PoP! whilst the Geico duke was banned ingame, and left the Geico players behind. They quickly fell. Overall, I liked them if it wasn't for the slightly arrogant duke who trolled the forum a bit too much for my liking.

82nd.
=EagleEye= is good. I have played on an account with him since he led 82nd. I was sad to see him go inactive on this world. SithMeister and ArtofSpam did alright, but the ego problem was probably their undoing. Well, that and recruiting the Lowkey members after saying they would rim every last player on the PnPs, and then the COBRA merge, bringing in Hoof and Razor - well, most of us remember what that pair were like! They aren't going to make my finalist list.

Lowkey.
Another premade from the north. Put up a good fight against 82nd. I do not know what went wrong here - they seemed to be full of confidence, and position-wise they looked like they could have taken the entire north-east. Unfortunately I don't remember enough to comment more on this.

RAW.
Not a good premade at all. Major internal problems (I was in there for a couple of days sitting an account during startup without being noticed). They did alright with the help of other tribes, but eventually got taken down. I think they then turned in to MILF, finally won a war against Kiwi., and ended up disbanding. I am surprised I remember them.

Kiwi.
Fun tribe, I was in this one before I joined the tribe -V-. Not much to say really. Was an alright tribe, not amazing, but a lot of funny personalities there. They won't hit my top list either, sad to say.

T.D.E
Now Devils. The only premade to still be around with the same leader(s) that they originally had. For that, and widthstanding all the forum flames on this world, and beating every top tribe that tried to take them on (82nd, LosT, COBRA), and for now taking on NOB!!, this tribe will certainly be on my finalist line-up of top tribes of this world. But where will they rank?

Ok, that is premades done. Other tribes of note.

-V-
In all honesty, a couple of talented players there, and myself causing my mayhem. They won't be up there.

WOW
Sorry hommy, but you guys failed as much as us, if not more! Leadership skills need some work, perhaps when you coplay me in the next premade I have set up, we can work on that

LosT
Mergaholics with bad forum presence, no decent fighting, and ended up failing during the first war they tried.

-TDR-
Very good tribe. They showed me what a decent tribe looks like, and they put up some great displays, though the lack of forum presence for most of their time here saddened me. OA, Xander, Silaking - some of the best leaders I have come across.

SIKE
LOL. Let's not go there. But you guys won't make my list

MASK
I only joined when asked because I was required to organise the operation to take cerb out. Unfortunately the op, although planned, was kept being put off by the rest of leadership, and I left. When I came back - whatdoyouknow, they were recruited in to NOB!!

T-T
T600 had a sad tale with his hand incident. Poor bloke. Ahmen always liked to talk in the third person. Really annoying. I personally had a major dislike for this tribe and its members, and still do. You guys had best watch out for if I get a chance to take you on :icon_cool:

CIALIS
Great tag. Great duke. Shame they ended up breaking down after Nickjer quit. But still, they were amusing, and they did a good job whilst they were here.

DrEvil
With Last Orders, DarknessCalls, Princess of Justice and Moaring Cricket all in the same tribe - they could have done well. Shame they were inactive enough to agree to my mass-merge

COBRA
Which tribes didn't they join that were near them?

Omen
Well, I amused myself running this tribe and screwing around with it at the same time. I think the rest of the world found some of it funny too. Shame the duke logged in to the homcgra account (just after he joined SIKE) and launch everything he had at me. Well, I can guarantee they won't make it there!

NOB!!
Great whilst Minder was duke. Alright with Are - as Minder put it, Are always tries to do what he thinks is best for the tribe long-term, whether others agree with it or not. If he lets me give him a makeover (possibly put a dress on too), I'm sure a greatly fun side will pop out of him :icon_eek: don't hurt me Are!!!

Rx4U
Well, they have done well. Destroyed -V-, Destroyed JokerZ (not even going to mention them here). Destroying *TA. I want to see where they go next, although my intel already suggests where they intend to stop

~RAID~
Very interesting tribe. Are they inactive? Are they active? Will they start a fight with one of the two big tribes next to them, or are they just going to keep hanging around in the SW watching the world destroy itself?

???
A group of 7-8 players in the SW. Did alright as a tribe until Delro went inactive, and things went pear-shaped from there.

PoS-X
Seth Miodane tried to best me through intelligence and tactics. He failed. The one time I bothered taking W39 seriously, during the build-up to that war. And, though nobody ever seems to mention it when slagging off -V-, as PoS-X was being lead by someone who was recruited by Sneggy for Mafiya W51, they did have some skill there. And -V- absolutely obliterated them in the first wave alone.

Ok, covered all the tribes I can remember/had an interest in. Finally, my top 5 tribes of W39 are to be announced.

In 5th place, Bunny. They tried to stand up to one of the largest tribes in W39 at the time, even though they knew it meant almost certain defeat, and went out graciously when they eventually lost.

In 4th place, ~RAID~. People seem to forget that they took on pretty much every SW tribe, including PoP! and -V-. Funnily enough, they are the only one still around.

In joint 3rd place, Random and T.D.E. The only two successful premades in my view.

In 2nd place, NOB!!. I may not llike how they operate, but they have done a good job so far, and I hope to see them keep it up in the future.

And finally, the winner of this thread goes to, you guessed it:

*TA FAMILY!!!!!
it is actually Rx4U, but let's not feed UBM's ego any more!!!

Lowkey was a premade from dShokR.

I was in dShokR... was the best premade ive been in and Lowkey was a "future" plan set up by dShokR. Sadly though due to internal sabotage the tribe had a lot of plans revealed and also a lot of bad propaganda made on the side to inflict as much damage in vengence of the old leader. This then caused a lot of members to quit like me for example (I was Kaukau not that anyone can recall or knew me back then :p) Either way we were gonna merge into Geico and as I was leaving part of the agreement was to give my vills to nuke911 XD. after this dshokr members unmerged so I wanted to join the world again thinking everything was going back up with dShokR. Sadly wasn't though and some merged into Random while others quit again :\. After that me and Art Of Spam decided to go into a merge with 82nd while Art of spam took co-play of sithmeister and I quit due to 82nd being willing to back stab their members over fear of Random :| and basically they set an OP up in privacy on a member of their own tribe what I was pretty ticked and upset with so I left and told them why and they just said they understood.

I played in dShokR and co-lead Lowkey though respect to Art Of Spam as he did most work for the tribe :p. I just did op setting and stuff. Op's that never followed through >:|. members were a bit sloppy as they were kinda being watched for possible future members. more of an observation team setup by dShokR for future recruits and future plans that were already set.

dShokR took on a 3 tribe gangbang when we have like 17 members and we won. Though the tribes were kind of mass recruiting families so not a huge achievement :p.

Interesting read but one question, how can you say some of the tribes in your top 5 will last if they are already gone?

If you mean Bunny, then they have technically lasted, but changed Tag. Whilst an original member of leadership (I believe I am right in saying Are was originally Minder's righthand man) is still leading the tribe, I do believe it can be considered the same tribe. Just a point of view.

Ahh ok, maybe a good idea to include who changed to who than to give readers like myself who dont know too much about the premades on where members are at today. :)

I don't think any Kiwi., RAW or Geico accounts are around any more.

Random's remnants are in Devils.
Bunny's remnants are now NOB!! who restarted on the rim once Random had finished with them.
T.D.E's core players that were the original dragon-themed premade are in Devils.
82nd and Lowkey's remnants are in Devils.
ID's remnants are in Rx4U now I believe. Though I don't think any ID players are still playing this world - I know Princess of Justice isn't the original any more anyway.

I didn't remember you guys whilst writing that up. Apologies. Here you go:

~BR~
This tribe never reallly did much. Allied with PoS-X - the duke eventually moved to Omen. Between their formation and their fall, little happened for this tribe.

What ever we tried to help pos x beat V

we did many things

I was teasing you.
You forget that I was the duke of -V- during this conflict. And from what I remember, PoS-X lost their "solo" lad on the frontlines who was working for them against us in a single launch, as did his PA and 3 other members. By far the funnest war I had on W39, so well done I guess for helping make it so amusingly fun.

I Do hate to argue with a doctor but I don't think 82nd was a premade. EI maybe joined with a couple guys... But picked up some good talent in Khuno, Trix and I want to say grimlock. The later two left for Random before quiting shortly after. Sith and Sir manic came over from another tribe I remember. And me and Hermy where the late recruits of 14 and 15 from the next K over. But again I could stand corrected by EI.

Art of Spam was the leader of Lowkey. :icon_surprised:

But i guess he was good enough to rim himself?

About 2 weeks into the 82nd/Lowkey war Lowkey merged into the 82. After that EI went inactive for awhile leaving Sith and Spam to co/lead
