I'm not quite sure what the point of this thread is. Not to seek the support of Rx4U, for sure (Nothing against them - it's just not the way such things are done.)
The tribe has had it's up's and downs, for sure - very few don't. We've seen members leave, some without prior warning. We've seen players who have failed under pressure. We've had the odd defection, a few internal squabbles and lost the odd player to the mods for infractions. On the other hand, we've also seen some great performances too: legendary snipers, superb co-ordination, brilliant defensive and offensive play, self-less sitters and gutsy fighting from less experienced players who have more than earned their place in the tribe.
When NOB!! took a change of direction with it's Northern expansion we knew the dynamic within the tribe would change. As you can imagine, there were some differences of opinion within the tribe about the timing, location and extent of the expansion we should take. Bottom line was that staying down south was already leading us to stagnation. By going for the Northern expansion, we gained a bunch of new players (rather more than we'd originally planned) and temporarily found ourselves in the #1 spot. We knew that wouldn't last. Some of those new players proved a disappointment - others were, and still are, very much worth their place in the tribe. The expansion also brought us into a fight with Devils and T.D.E that we'd rather have left to later, but sometimes you just have to accept the way the dice roll. Truth be told, we would have ended up in a fight with them sooner or later anyway, and NOB!! were never a tribe to shy away from a war.
On a personal note, I've had a great laugh on skype with many of NOB!! (old and new alike), I've enjoyed the banter in the forums, I've experienced close co-operation and real team work on many an occasion and seen numerous examples of NOB!! players going out on a limb for each other and I expect to see that continuing for a good while to come.
