[spoil]*Warning* This is a fairly long thread, so if you are not into reading long threads then don't waste your time and later post, craps about it. I will try to make this as interesting as possible. *Warning*

The purpose of this thread is not to tarnish anyone or any tribe at all. But to show the world that nothing is impossible and one should always enjoy the game. The thread is about how you should attack and defend that may take you to the top spot of ODA and ODD same time.

For the sake of good sportsmanship, I will not post particular accounts who were involved as it should never be that way. So, most of the stats will be just pure texts, but the involved parties know that it is fully authentic and my stat is enough to back that. [/spoil]

Greetings to the habitants of world 53,

On the eve of New Year, I am here to share a story - "The Story of animals & capitals". The story of a good TW account. The story of Spotted Cow, how it became the #1 ODA and #1 ODD account of the world, yet not much of a loss. The story of Tribal Bond. The story of enjoying a true TW experience.

Without further ado, let us continue. There is an ongoing conflict between DSL and some other tribes. We have already seen how Zain-BA-I account was neutralized to an extent, how Dr. Sheldon Cooper was being taken care of. And a few skirmishes here and there. Being in the front line of two of these conflicts, everyday is a fun day @ Spotted Cow account. Kitty aka Lazy Days and asif aka alphabonkers try to have as much fun out of it possible.

We are going to share our latest chapter on the story. The chapter started after the Christmas break. Spotted Cow is one of those accounts in the world, who has a nice balance of points, ODA, and ODD.

Below is the status of the account in terms of these after the break:
[spoil]
@ 26/12/2010
Player: Spotted Cow
Tribe: DSL
Rank: 6
Points: 284,909
Villages: 34
ODT: 1,187,531
ODA: 753,921
ODD: 433,610
[/spoil]

We were getting lazy as kitty was travelling during the holiday and I had one of those one of those TW moments where you feel bored and want to halt playing. Suddenly, a certain some one from RIM! decided to do a one on one dwell with us. Let us call this player RIM-alone.

Dec 27, 2010.
The story of Dog, involving RIM-alone
RIM-alone decides to scout Dog. He did it 3 times @ 12:00, 16:00, & 19:40. Seeing there was not much def (just about 12K/8K/1K sp/sw/hc), he decides to launch an assault to get the Dog from us. He set his nobles to hit @23:21. He thought, since there was no increasing in def or no troop movement at all, and we are not around, 5 pre-nuke and a nuke noble will do the job. 2 nukes were timed to hit @23:07, 1 @ 23:16, 2 more @23:21 as close as possible (3 secs apart) to the noble train. Let see what happened.

So, RIM-alone lost 6 nukes and 5 nobles, our loss is 12K/7K/1.5K aprox. Village intact. Let see what was the impact of this on our ODD.
From 433,610 to 852,218.

Dec 29-30, 2010.

Now, on to next phase of the chapter. There was nothing for a day or so. The suddenly, the number of incoming has started to rise on us. So, we predict something is going to happen. Kitty is still on vacation and I got out of the boredom, thanks to RIM-alone. I got pumped up to face this new assault. Once we saw, long distance Noble trains are coming from K43, we knew it is time for tribal help. But since, we are also fighting with 2 HARD and Hubris, I prefer to not call help unless I am real sure about it.

This time, we got a few RIM! players coming at us, pre-planned, with a hint of a few more may join short range at the eleventh hour. Let us first name these brave players. We will call them, RIM-shukh, RIM-shada, RIM-bekkol, RIM-pori, RIM-kuthar, RIM-bolod, RIM-gondar, RIM-kebla, RIM-din, RIM-odhora.

Among them, RIM-pori, RIM-shada, RIM-bekkol offered to lend nuke so you won't heard their name again in the story. I give props to them to help their tribe-mates with nukes. You are true spirit.
RIM-din and RIM-odhora participated long range, but they failed to meet the landing time by 3 hrs 30 mins and 6 hrs respectively. I still applaud you for trying.
RIM-shukh, RIM-bolod, and RIM-gondar were they most prominent one. They tried their best to take their targets and support them right away. These 3 made it right at the time @ 22:00 with loads of nukes and fakes and nobles and support within just 2 mins. I am proud of playing against you three, I would love to have you 3 as my tribe-mates someday. My hats off to you.
Lastly, RIM-kuthar and RIM-kebla. These are the sneaky ones, they waited and waited till the eleventh hour, so I had a different kind of with them. Praises to RIM-kuthar for trying as many way as possibly. Praises to RIM-kebla to have courage to fight.

Now let see what happened during the last 2 days, Decemeber 29 and Decemeber 30.

The story of Monkey, involving RIM-gondar
This one was a long range. So, we already saw a lot of attacks and support coming @22:00 on our Monkey. So, we stacked it with 50K+/6K+ sp/hc. :icon_cool:. Let see the result.

So, RIM-gondar lost 6 nukes and 4 nobles. and Yes, he sent split nobles and that is also from 2 different villages. That's some nice coordination. His support to land later was not as good as the other 2, but still a good one. Grats. So, Monkey is saved.

The story of Impala, involving RIM-bolod.
I love this one, among all the attackers RIM-bolod was the most dedicated one. He tried a good amount to hide his train here. The coordination of attacks and support was really good. Well, we went on to stack this one as well. :icon_cool: Let see the result.

RIM-bolod, lost a staggering 9 nukes and 4 nobles. He splitted his train as well, and put a lot of effort to get Impala. Alas, he couldn't. We manage to save Impala as well. But kudos to him.

The story of Tiger, involving RIM-shukh.
By far the best story of them all. Till now, during these conflict RIM-shukh is the one who is most dedicated. I'd love them to be as my tribe-mate someday. And no, this is not another stack story, she managed to get an empty village with 0 wall with a nuke sent at least 12 hrs ago, with the help of one of the nuke lenders. So, the story is different here. There were not much losses for her clearing it, so I will not post that. But there were 4/5 prenukes and 2 nukes in between the nobles (I assume the two nuke got off by milliseconds hence got inbetween the nobles). Since we knew we won't be able to save this one, we prenoble. Luckily for her, the nuke noble did not got the village. Loyalty drop was from 25 to 3. So, the second noble got it and we lost our Tiger :icon_cry:. She manage to noble itself one more time. (There was 5 nobles if I am not mistaken.).
Now comes the interesting part of the story. The amount of support she coordinated to land right after conquering was huge. Between her last noble and the first support she sent, the gap was less than 300 ms. She did awesome with all those supports. My net connection is not that good, compare to many, and most of the time our nobles are sent by Kitty and a good friend of mine. The saying "Fortune favors the Brave" worked great. I managed to slip a nuke noble to hit in between that 300 ms. Result, we saved our Tiger. :icon_cool:

Now comes the great part of this story. The evil in me, made sure the tech of the village remain @ 0 for defense. Let see what happened to her supporting troops :icon_wink: I am sure she would like to know also how they died. :icon_cool: My good-friend MonkyCMonkeyDo created a havoc here :D

37.5K spears, 2.2K swords, 4.7K HC died in 5 attacks. Using Opponets troop we gained both ODA and ODD. :) And the Tiger was saved as well.

The story of Dhaka and Ottawa, involving RIM-kuthar.
This is one of those 2 sneaky stories. We didn't manage to stack it, and there were a lot of helping nukes in these two. Still, we managed good. We got lucky with Dhaka, having loyalty down to 3, we lost Ottawa though. There were a lot of back and forth attacking defending involving these two. We managed to kill a load of troops of the attacker, not to mention we also killed his support at our village. :icon_cool: Frankly, this player has the enthusiasm, but lacks a lot in TW skill. He needs to improve on that, None the less, great effort. We managed to get back Ottawa within 3 hours.

The story of Paris, involving RIM-bekkol.
Now this one was a bit surprising, the sneak attack happened almost at the last moment, so we could not do much. we got cleared here just with 2 nukes before even the nobles arrived. :icon_cry: And there was no villages close by either to do a split snipe. But this is the weakest of all the attackers, and had shit train. So we got the chance to try barb bounce snipe. We managed to kill the last noble with offense troops to delay the process of losing Paris :icon_confused:. We lost it on the second go and failed to retake as well in our first try as he stacked it. We managed to get back Paris after 9 hours.

The side story involving 2 HARD.
These involved the pesky 2 HARD players near our SE border, they keep trying here and there. We managed to kill a good amount of their troops and nobles. I won't do a elaborated one here. Unfortunately, we lost one here, just because we are only human as well. :icon_rolleyes:. I was coming back from office and lost a village within that 40 mins. The worst part is I lost it to a noble that were escorted by 100sp/100sw. We did try to take it back, but morale is shit for me against them and it got stacked. So, we couldn't.

With this I end my stories. Now lets see what we got here.

We lost 4 villages, 3 to RIM! 1 to 2 HARD. We retook all 3 back from RIM! We couldn't take the 1 from 2 HARD just beacuse of shitty morale and it is not worth it right now. We gain a shit load of ODD and a good amount of ODA as well.

Let see our current ODs...
OD Rank: 1. (4,117,097 score)
OD Attack Rank: 1. (1,093,218 score)
OD Defense Rank: 1. (3,023,879 score)

ODs before all these happens...(Not exactly sure about the ranks, but scores are perfect)
OD Rank: < 10. (1,187,531 score)
OD Attack Rank: < 5. (753,921 score)
OD Defense Rank: < 10. (433,610 score)

In-terms of village - 1 lost.

This also gave me back to back defender of the day awards, and MonkyCMonkeyDo got the attacker of the day with the loss of 2 nukes only.

1 village loss and a gain of 3 million ODT. One of the awesome thing I have experienced in TW around this stage of the game. So, thanks to all the attackers, I really enjoyed this experience, kudos to you guys for making this a great experience, you all are winner.

Thanks to you, we are finishing the year with #1 in ODA and ODD. A rare feat, specially w/o losing many villages.

alphabonkers has once again show the classy player he is. :icon_wink: I would like to thank all my tribe members also specially the ones who supported a lot.

Moral of the story : Enjoy the game, do not panic at all and play for your tribe and tribemates. You may not become as awesome as alphabonkers but you will do good and will be proud of your in game achievements. Think twice before engaging with DSL as well. We are not a rollover and die case. :icon_wink:

Thanks to all for reading.

ps- there was no sort of flaming or tarnishing involved, I really appreciated everyone's effort, I was just too sexy for you all :icon_cool:. So, do not make this a flame fest.

Oh cmon, if he was sitting around trolling the forums and didn't want to read it, but instead just kept hitting refresh on another thread so he could reply as soon as possible, that would be lazy. Busy is another option? No need for that.

Summary: alphabonkers does some cool stuff, gets some good luck, plays well, kills lots of troops and only loses 1 village due to morale.

the good timing of the nukes gave the game away early so we had plenty of time to get it stacked, despite the train only setting off at the last mintue ;)

This is why I lead DSL. Do not think we fall so easily.

Also shows the lack-of strategy in Rim. How many failed ops have you guys had so far?

Blah blah blah, incomings, blah blah blah blah, plz support , blah blah blah pat my own back, blah free ODD

Hows that brad?

Normally i wouldnt respond to a post like this but now we have several threads dedicated to DSL. Ok so happy new year all, let the gang bang commence, (sorry i havent seen it phrased like that yet im sure its coming)

We see DSL in 1 corner fighting three tribes as they continue to pat themselves on the back(three tribes? oh my!) Next they will claim this as a mass op against them , and the fact its a hug war!

What i see so far is a big target pounding on there chest as to think what they have done . Congrats glad you have the exp to pic out trains from 24 + hours away thats TW 101 .

I see a post with alias names , why not dig and post the real names?( let the flaming commence).

So here we have one player with mass support bragging like he/she did something great. Curious ever consider that was a joke ride to DSL to keep us entertained?

I think that was slightly better than all the visits DSL paid to RIM! over the Christmas break PFFt.

Sorry i see RIM! eating non war targets and sending random nukes and nobles to laugh out loud . This being said is RIM! really concerned about you stacking/ I think not.

Actually or chat is filled with more laughs regarding stacked villages and weak attacks by DSL.(Dont Stop Laughing) we sure dont!

With this said ill let the players get back to there New years celebration , as we all toast and tip our glasses to the great and mighty DSL!:icon_rolleyes:

Just wait till we clean up our K's we are not even focusing on Rim! one bit while you give us free ODD. why not stack a frontline player? What kind of tribe would we be if we didn't? And FYI Alpha and Kitty never cried for support one bit. they asked and we delievered isnt that what a tribe is supposed to do?? sorry if we do not know how to play TW but we are learning. So we stack a target while we continuing to defend in our home K's against two other tribes. Something Rim!
can not brag about. Then you come here saying your "Laughing out loud" about dead nukes is pathetic. your just trying to ease the pain of how good DSL is at defending. while you guys failed to stack a member who was in DSL's K when you recruited them

Ohh and weak nukes?? Sorry but we have more ODA then Rim! too. thanks to you guys before stacking the village. Take the village!!!

Once you learn how to defend and give out your ign. You may want to keep quiet
