No, mixing in more troop types just makes a nuke weaker, I couldn't find anything with MA in it, unless is was MA/LC with a pally and wep, but that doesn't seem likely

Depends on what they're up against. 20k archers can kill 3 nukes, for example, but it wouldn't last against heavy MA ones.
