A few comments:
As the aggressors, the PCL coalition has obviously been more aggressive so far. However neither their conquests against the Riot team (32 to 27, or 19% more) nor even their total troop kills (77% more OD gain) really measure up to their size advantage (116-167% larger).
As I've noted previously, while both sides are growing the coalition has been growing faster overall. Perhaps even more troubling, they have been stunting Riot's growth
rate quite successfully. Riot! specifically had 176% growth over that period, which is a higher rate than the coalition as a whole, but for the rank 2 tribe that compares with 228% growth over the same period for Para (rank 1 tribe), 234% for Code (rank 3), 222% for Awake and 245% for BEAST (rank 5).
If I were a betting man I'd put my money on Riot! outlasting the coalition despite being the underdogs - not least because the latter are likely to have more powerful and hungry tribes at their back than Riot! will have on the rim. If the coalition maintains its cohesion (another issue of concern) it's likely to be a long slow war, and very unlikely that the coalition will be able to ally or NAP every tribe behind them for the whole duration. Much as they might try to drag into the war stats every other tribe which comes into conflict with some of their members, that's just the way the game goes.
On the other hand, forming a coalition and declaring war when they did was almost certainly a much better strategy than waiting for Riot to consolidate their accounts and fight on their own terms. Even if and when the coalition crumbles, they might at least have the satisfaction of having severely disadvantaged Riot's later game ambitions.
