what is Cersei going to do with the mercenaries?

probably wait for the opportunity to kill leftovers from the north and take the control of all kingdoms

(but who knows, nothing surprises me regarding her actions, not even deal with Night King xD)

Had a few days to let the Epi sink in. Sad about a few things tbh...

Bran tells Dany/Jon that the Night King raised a dragon back from the dead and broke the wall down.
What was their reaction? Mild shock and a ride on the dragons... Lol.

Sansa brings up logistics and something that would've been addressed properl earlier in the show's run...
Dany answers with a stupid one-liner.

And also... WHERE IS GHOST?! :'(

But yeah, still a good episode, just... Got my hopes up again I suppose o0

I enjoyed it!!! it seems like they purposely got all the slow moving plotlines out of the way in episode 1. so I imagine shits about to really hit the fan the remaining 5? episodes.

But yeah I do miss the earlier season's tempo.. to echo your and h0lly's sentiments.. but as a GoT fanatic and apologist, I think they are doing what they gotta do at this point I guess. I doubt these actors or anyone involved in this show want to commit another 5 years of their lifes to it haha.

I like the Arya/Gendry scene :)
And Brienne one. Good for her.

Also everything Tormund did... Glorious bastard he is.
Also Ghost was shown for a few seconds!

Series has went off track badly ever since they stopped following the books.

I really appreciate the heck out of this show, even though its transformed into something different from what we liked about it in the first place. Theres still a ton of amazing acting, cinematography, and music to be adored.... if you are into that sort of thing. I can't think of a comparable spectacle in the history of television, except maybe West World which I consider to be convoluted, reliant on dialogue porn, and just an absolute task to sit down and actually watch.

High budget fan fiction is probably the best way to describe it. George RR Martin has said he doesn't watch the show so hopefully the books will have an actual good ending.

If this show ends any other way than with Bran warging a crow to fly into Cersei's mouth to choke her out, or Arya just assassinating Cersei or Dany swooping down from above and just torching Cersei's palace before running off again...
Well, I'll be disappointed again, Cersei doesn't need a last big final battle, she's to easy to murder without the further loss of life.

But we'll gets some more "cool" scenes with one-liners I'm sure :) Probably Sam surrounded by 30 Lannister men, but next time we see him he's okay.

This video is the best review for the last episode.
