A realization.

It was morning. I was sick and really, really bored. Thinking it was better than nothing, I put a random tape into the ancient VCR. I spent the following eight hours watching old episodes of Spider Man that my dad had taped when I was a kid. Not only because they are a damn lot better than the morning cartoons of this day (seriously, what the hell is feminism doing in morning shows for kids?) but because it made me feel, well, nostalgic to a certain degree. And I discovered that I still have the childish sense of what is cool when I purposely forwarded to when Spider Man turns into a monster. When he gains the symbiose. When Carnage starts using his brain powahz on everyone. When Spider Man gets the Carnage symbiose and is launched into an alternative reality. It made me happy, when thinking back, a feeling I´ve been lacking these past few months. It also made me sad when I realized how much I´d been wasting my childhood. I could´ve used those hours and hours of free time into something useful like watching porn.

It also made me fully realize what crap cartoons and animations are today. It´s either 3D Milkshake´d crap with a message or just plain crap promoting feminism, friendship, peace and tolerance. Mind you, I agree with every one of those things, but not that they´re rammed into the brain of some innocent four year old boy wanting some amusement.

It also made me feel sad. Made me want to go back to my childhood, so that I could do all those things like entering the women´s changing room without consequence. It made me want to go back to my old kindergarten.
