Step 5: never have Trex as your coplayer.

Its good that this is explained further as I'm sure support gets a lot of requests related to this.

Sadly we do, so hopefully players will take some action on weak passwords, unreliable co-players and untrustworthy sitters!

Don't give your password to people who ask for it.

Ragestyles got tricked this way.

If it can happen to the best, it can happen to anyone

4.6. It is forbidden to share passwords or other login credentials with other players.

Since this is forbidden anyone who complains of another using their account to damage it should lose their account and all with it immediately for breaking a forbidden rule. Let them start another account if they wish to play still.

Hi @JawJaw

Is there a reason why in 2021 Inno refuse to implement basic MFA procedures? Seems like a fairly simple solution a lot of these problems would be to introduce some kind of 2fa system where when an account is logged (or sat) into for the first time from a new location it would request verification from the primary account holder via email or sms. Obviously it doesn't solve literally every issue but would eliminate a lot of them. MFA has been fairly standard security procedure for a number of years now.

Reading your extremely basic account protection guide which seems tailored to technophobes in their 70s feels rather insulting to be honest when there are actual solutions inno could implement

Implementing MFA is actually on the roadmap, as it, as you say, has indeed become quite standard practice. We are however evaluating the impact of that on basic game parts such as coplaying.

However insulting you may find the post, fact is that we have weekly support tickets from players that lost their account because of trash mails or because they used a password that is the same as the username.... :)
