Account sitting

As there have ben so many threads on different aspects of account sitting, I have decided to make this sticky. For starters, here are the rules.

§3) Account sitting

While a player is account sitting for another player, no interactions (attack/supply/support/co-ordinate attacks or support) are allowed between any accounts played on the account sitters internet connection (including friends, family and colleagues on the same connection). That includes all accounts, that are being account account sat by players on that connection.
All interactions are forbidden until 24 hours after the account sitting mode has been canceled.
An account that is being sat has to be played for it's own benefit, not for the benefit of other accounts.
Everything stated in §2 has to be followed.

Examples:
It is not allowed to use an account in any way that profits another account on the same connection.
It is forbidden to give away villages as presents from an account you are sitting (unless it is a trade of villages that clearly benefits both accounts).
It is forbidden to play an account you are sitting just to push other accounts, even if the other accounts are on a different internet connection.
It is forbidden to send suicide attacks from an account you are sitting to clean for other accounts (unless it is part of an agreement that does not put the account at a disadvantage)
It is allowed for you to attack and conquer villages with the account you are account sitting.
It is allowed for you to attack two players from the same tribe with your own account and the account you are account sitting for (i.e. separate attacks on separate players).
You are not allowed to use information about any accounts you are sitting for attacks from your own account, or provide this to other players, even after the sitting has ended.

This is only for starters, as I said. Any questions about account sitting can be asked here, and they will be answered.

Let's say I'm sitting two players, can they both attack the same player after they've ended the sitting? I know I can't attack the same player as either one of them within the 24 hrs after the sitting has ended, but can they both attack the same player?
Thanks

24 hour rule applies to them both as well.

if someone sits an account and then disbands the tribe of the player will the sitter be punished?

Nope. And that is as it should be. Setting someone as sitter when you are a duke is just the same as giving someone duke privs in the tribe. You should only do it to someone you really trust.

So.. I had just sent res out of an account I'm sitting to compensate a player that supported it for his losses, when I recalled seeing something about that in the rules.. so I canceled after I read this:

It is never allowed to send resources to another player from any account you are sitting.

My question is.. why can I not send a player res for the troops he lost? I really would like him to rebuild said troops and send them again. Which would be in the accounts best interest that I'm sitting. I'm talking about 10k/10k/10k here, and he lost a few hundred troops, just trying to help him help the sitting out since that was most of his troops he'd lost.

And another question.. why is it not hardcoded into an account being sat that res cannot be sent to other players? Seems to me it's just a way to punish someone for not reading a rule that is hidden by the 'more' word that so many have never noticed.

The arguments that you have against the pushing rule apply equally here. It's hard to have rule differentiate what is and is not justifiable resources to be sent from the sat account, and not restricting it at all would lead to most sat accounts being used to send all of their resources to other players.

I had a tribe leader sit my account whe ni took it back over i had no troops and no reports of troops being killed he says i had no troops whe nhe took it over. I have a report of an attack on a barb with some of my troops just four minutes before he accepted . Now did he get them killed and deleted the reports or did they just vanish? Isa there a way to know what happened while he was sitting?

First off, send in a ticket.

Second, check your rally point(s). Any troop movements currently happening will be there. Then check where it says "troops." This will tell you where all your troops in that village are, as long as they are not in transit.

1)if i sit an account which is being attacked and i tagged an attack WRONG, then he reported will i get banned? ( Its the fact that maybe i am asleep and i tagged it wrong )
No.
2)If i sit an account and ignored all attacks will i get banned when he reports?
No.
3)If i sit an account and changed the tags of the owner example,

He tagged an attack RAM SPEED
I changed it to noble?

Will i get banned?
No.

4) If I release all the troops supported to him will i get banned when he reports?
Potentially. Here you would be in the position of needing to justify how it was in the best interest of the account. The fact that you're asking means there's likely an intent to harm the account, which would mean you're violating the rules.
