Active to Barbarian

I do not remember if people who go inactive if they're troops stay in their village after they go barb or do they disappear?

You've also got to deal with the onslaught of barbarian wall building. Those buggers just love to steal 1-2 of your troops per farm raid. It's even more infuriating when your the type who always has to have your troop numbers even like for example 1,000 or 1,100 . Always has to have a 0 or a 5 on the end.
