An Absolut Letdown

Citizens of the forums! Gather round so that ye may hear, the despicable tale of the band of miscreants known as Vodka!

Our story has humble beginnings, a rim tribe with an ideal. They wanted to win the world the right way. Play with honour and gain a win of which they can be proud. A noble ideal if there ever was one.

After refusing to merge with Smart these players led by Superbad decided to ally Smart while they built up their position. Oh the horrors unleashed by Superbad upon this world, deception upon inception!

The next move made by these devilish opportunists was to waylay their allies in NN. United by chance against their foe in Smart an unlikely alliance was born. NN, ever troubled by activity and lack of skill and Vodka, declared war on purge after a long period of build up, but to their horror naughty Sean swept in with invite button firing, recruiting 80% of the tribe after a matter of days at war. The purge players, many now on their third tribe at this tender early stage of the world, were offered a second chance, yet gave NN hell about finishing off the players NN was already at war with, their ex-tribemates. With the prospect of losing both targets and ground, NN stuck to their early game ways to recruit the remaining purge players.

These moves allowed Vodka to move in on their enemy in Smart with the cancellation of the false alliance by Superbad in preparation for his long planned war upon his former ally. A stalemate for some time, northern Smart players ripped through inactive Vodka accounts while Sean did little to react, releasing no returning ops, perhaps due to being paralysed eith fear? Southern Vodka players managed to gain the upper hand, finding a cache of inactive accounts on the southern Smart frontline. Of course, the logical thing to do when you gain the upper hand in a war is to recruit the majority of the remaining accounts rather than fighting through them. The destruction of the delicate balance in the world was to be fractured when Smart was recruited thus ending Vodka's first war, with Vodka showing it can beat an inactive front when it has the rank 1 and 3 tribe hitting the rank 2 tribe. Oh the glory of victory!

Their almighty duke managed to successfully noble many barbs during this war as he stared down the curses account, claiming that upon the downfall of Smart he would sweep in with strength and show his skills! After managing a hefty 16 conquers, the clever leader of Vodka outsmarted the other fools of the world by waiting for the surrounding Smart accounts to barb out instead of fighting them after the glorious win, a genius tactic as any would admit, and proving once and for all his might.

After this glorious recruitment of Smart the focus moved onto the long term end goal - war with their old ally NN. The fearsome warriors of Vodka were now presented with an opportunity to prove their mettle in battle! After Smart had achieved moderate success against NN in their 2v1 war it seemed sure that Vodka would be able to triumph and prove their prowess once and for all. Alas, there is no honour in NN there is only the will to win regardless of how it is done. They managed to recruit players from NN who consisted a large portion of the frontline. Upon declaration of war these players struck a shocking blow. Symbiote gave an intense show of skill and activity with the help of the Purge players was able to fend off NN and devastate both their frontline and their tribe morale. TheSilentBang and Tommeh were also recruited but were utterly defeated by NN. A wicked play by those who are desperate for any chance at weakening their enemy despite holding the upper hand.

Lastly, when victory was inevitable and NN close to tipping point the Sinful Angel account left Vodka. Surrounded by the enemy and unlikely to succeed they relied on NN for sits. Alas, treacheries were once more unleashed by Vodka even with their complete dominance of the world. The Varomnia account took the account sit in which prior to taking it the account had remained roughly even in caps and they allowed Vodka to roll through. This account had been spying for Vodka the whole time and now used one last underhanded trick in order to remove any hope for the resigned NN tribe. Just in case a 100mill pt tribe against a 3mill pt account wasn't a fair fight they had their own person take the sit and let the account be trashed.

The moral of this tale? Those who would claim to be the protectors of lofty ideals and absolute integrity have failed utterly in their mission. They have tainted their victory in lies. No ally has been safe from their deception and no enemy left alone from their recruitment and spying. With the aid of spies who internalled their tribe all world they have managed to stay one step ahead of NN at all times and through their recruitment of Smart they were able to defeat their initial competition. Standard play some might say, but without a shred of integrity.

TL;DR; Vodka betrayed every major ally they had this world (Smart and NN) and recruited from both tribes in order to win. They have not fought a challenging fight all world and have been munching through accounts that had everything they did leaked by spies.

Mate if you had actually taken the time to organise your account, put in the dirty work and worked it. Sinful angel might have still been around. Also you co players who you vouched for that were supposed to be there could have made more of an effort too. Your account has been a running joke of lack of effort and inactivity.

Also don't go on long spiel about how the members of vodka have no integrity and betray anyone who they claimed to be working with when you were single handedly plotting to destroy vodka from the inside for weeks. You've done this on previous world's as well so your track record ain't good. It just makes you look like a fool and a hypocrite..

Also if you think that the only reason vodka are winning this war is because the enemy aren't really comparable to the level of skill that they're at. If it's so easy, then why didn't you make any decent headway but I think my earlier points kinda answered my own questions

I don't have a problem with people spying and switching sides, it sucks but its huge part of the game and it is what it is, so you conspiring with NN isn't a big thing.

My problem would be if i were one of your friends you tried and failed to take with you, you had personal problems with some people here ( i was not one of those people btw) because of your accounts inactivity and to take your personal grudge and try to drag your friends into it and take away a potential world win just to offer your account more protection to cover the lack of activity you knew wasnt there.

That's an absolute letdown.

ps. after you were kicked from the tribe ( you didn't leave ) you sent 1 wave of attacks and then nothing else so all the talk about how active your account is/was has been proved.

Even before he gave up that sit, he was dead in the water and losing caps faster than he was holding. He was not even stopping green noble escorts of less than 400 troops. The ST James should cover as an Aussie, he could not even cover those. Yet this was the very "activity" he wanted to show that he had? After all, he said he was super MOTIVATED. Get real. He is full of nonsense and he just sold you on it too Miccull. He was no hope.

BS wasnt a extention to NN. i dont remember james one time asking for support from me or kevin , who were his neighboors. i messaged him 2 or 3 times offering my help , but he said he will ask if he wasnt too. Maybe we have different definisions for extention.

It is interesting how Smart 'ripped through Vodka', but Southern Vodka only 'managed to gain the upper hand'.

We all know that SJ and South Crew just barely managed to scrape by against Smart:

Interesting how words can paint an entirely different picture than reality. Vodka slaughtered Smart (later changed name to OBS). In any time period during that war, it is difficult to actually say anything different while staring at the stats.

I've always stated that NN is overall much worse than Smart (this is mostly because Smart had better snipers), but Sinful's imagination and nostalgia have gotten the better of him in the midst of his misfortune and treachery.

The Varomnia account took the account sit in which prior to taking it the account had remained roughly even in caps.

I took the sit roughly 07:00 ST, Jan 21st and left the sit around 09:30 ST, Jan 21st. Since your departure of Vodka, you had lost a total of 19 villages before I came onto the scene, but recapped and gained roughly 22 villages. Doing simple math and not checking coords because i'm lazy, number may be a little skewed due to sending too many nobles and nobling from yourself, so take with grain of salt. Either way, you were still net positive, or extremely close to it, by the time I quit sitting the account, at a net of 19 villages gained, 19 villages lost, 3 of which while I was sitting and dozing off.

You mentioned that your co would wake up early but never showed up, and that you would be back by 11. I was gone to bed around 09:30 ST. You lost 3 villages due to none of your incoming attacks being tagged, relying solely on Watchtowers and most of your troops already being issues to locations and previously not knowing where what is, I dodged, and made due with what I had available for the time I was given. Next time, tag your incomings, and actually show up when you say you were going to, don't blame others for your inactivity or mistakes.

You caught me there. I have been doing such for a very, very long time. James, and Raz knew about this and I burned my bridge with Vodka at that time to instead formulate and OP against TSB and was able to break him but mostly just because his coplayer left the world more than anything else. After pulling teeth trying to get OPs to roll through against Vodka and getting no where, I left NN to make my own tribe, only to be convinced of new leadership being super active and high morale, only to come back finding it to be falsehood, filled with inactivity and internals abundant. It is at this stage that I try to repair said bridge and start spying for Vodka once more.

I defended you account to the fullest of my abilities and instructions that you left and would state, being deep into Vodka's butt hole with no prestacks from NN is fun to defend. You lost 3 villages during my time on your account, but 5x that when you took it over, but failed to take it over, because you're inactive. Get over yourself.

Again, I did not trash your account. You did, see evidence above. An unmanned account cannot be defended, and with me leaving at 09:30 ST and you coming on much later than that, despite you saying your co would be on by 10:00 ST, that's on you, not me. I even notified Lady the cleaner of your account situation and of how horrible it is, or will be very soon, if you do not get NN tribal support, and the response was, NN was more than willing to help out but he wanted you to pledge fealty to NN and join among their ranks before they sent in support, which, you never did, instead, you were out the door before you even passed the sit, and gave up before so as well. Instead of insulting Vodka, and me, you should take a hard look at yourself and your flaws. This all could have been avoided had you followed through with very simple steps. You ask for a sitter within hours of needing a sitter, a few respond, but their response is, sorry, can't do it, and I'm the only one within the NN family willing to take the task. You should be grateful that you only lost 3 villages. Had I not been there, it could have been 30. But, that's okay, I'm a spy for Vodka, it's all my fault that you lost so little during my time on your account, but so much while you were supposed to be logged in and managing it. I think it's clear now who is the real problem here, it's you. Better luck next time.
