On a bit of a lark, fired TW back up and got back into it. A few dynamics have certainly changed (hey there salvaging and PP farming!) but it definitely is a more things change, more they stay the same feel.

So looking out across the world a bit and curious who is around from the old guard? Besides Bloodhood of course :)

If anyone recognizes the name and such, feel free to drop a line and say hi in-game or here!

I was in a similar boat a couple weeks ago. Don't recognize the name, but it's definitely a different meta now. What worlds did you play?

It's certainly fun to learn this new meta and theorycraft for it. The old meta did have a charm to it (and was much less expensive) but it was quite stale.

Certainly many perks with the updates in the game but can be overwhelming to learn for sure. I would for sure advise taking this world as practice and get back into the swing of things then play W116 for real unless you get off to a great start here. Scaving is super easy though. Many guides on it and scripts that does the thinking for you in dividing your troops. You just have to set timers at that point.

Worlds 2, 3, 4, 6, 53, and 76 before this. I would say 2, 3, and 76 were my best runs. Shame TWStats is garbage on the older worlds :(

Yeah they still have everything but OD and if your account was deleted (like mine was) my W2 stats are still there I just had to go about getting the stats in a very hard way as my account doesn't appear when I look it up on TW stats but when I go to the winning tribe, and go to villages they nobled and find my tribe, tribe changes, then I find my account haha.

From world 1 here back in 2007. Played as uncle-ruckus on quite a few worlds. Accidentally started the account on the American server and it wouldn’t let me use it here.

Yeah, it's been a while playing a game that I never really seem to win, and costs far too much anymore.

If only there was a way to get a perma ban to assist me with staying away.....

Started back in w8. Then quite around w59 after we won that world.
Have just popped back in and was horrified by the amount of purchase options now. but will still give it a go again

Refresh my memory please? What account did you play on W59? I know many of us played under different account names or coplayed that world. Still trying to recall old names from years ago after I returned for W114.

I was the vocal half of BlackRoseShard in W59.

I was GOLIONS, part of the southern group that merged into PITA during the final war. Anything to get away from Geanie (I vaguely recall that being her name)

Yeah, I tried looking up some of the guys I played with as well, problem is though, like me, so many accounts just got deleted for lack of activity. Had to remake my original account

That was indeed her name. She was definitely one of a kind lol.

Think she stylized it and dropped the e so that it was just geani. She is definitely one I'll never forget. And she frequently wanted to talk to me about diplomacy, but her idea of diplomacy was she gets everything and we should thank her for the opportunity.

May be hard to believe, but I think she only comes in as 2nd in terms of most toxic players I've seen in the game.

Ah yeah, thats right.
I luckily didn't have much direct communication with her, just mostly on the tribe forum.

I pity you for finding someone worse XD
