How the hell does Mr. Im a baron and have nothing to do know about this and Mr. Best duke ever (Thats me btw) doesn't?

because I think Mr. Forgetful duke (that's you) doesn't remember due to passing out drunk 8 nights in a row :O

Just kidding, but seriously Fraser...you haven't been "on the ball" at all lately.

Yeah tell me about it :(
I need summer already... And i need to play my xbox cos i need to relieve some stress! Friday night though, will play it for the first time in like forever!

i say d-trains are bad especial on church worlds.

Everyone has an opinion that is different on this subject. I have heard all the arguments, but to each his own.

You are not the only one that has played a number one account on a church world though ...

and I had great success with them in the past and here also for that matter.

just don't think it's a good idea to attack with def no matter the circumstances. if you want to make sure u keep a squiky new village you need more then one def anyway. and if the village isn't covered by a church your troops are sitting ducks for at least 2 hours. its a solid opinion with merit even if it doesn't come from the #1

grmbl

I know what you mean robin. If you lose your nuke as escort it only takes 14ish days to rebuild, def takes a lot longer depending on setup, 30-50 days you are looking at, plus sometimes that escort could clear that your D cant. If you are that bothered, time your support to be ms after last noble. Or you wait 2 hours for church to build, why I always send resources as well when hitting an area that the village will be a church in.

This coming from somene who has led a rank 1 on two church worlds :icon_wink:

I prefer my noblemen to be accompanied by offence, in worlds where support can't be sent outside the tribe then I'd prefer noblemen with my defenders.

I'm just saying.......

(PS: Nice kitten upgrade)

Village is conquered using D Train from Vendetta (possibly while sat by Robin):

Failed recap attempt by Vendetta few seconds after it was capped:

This proves D Train works in Church World and especially in world 48 and even maybe against Robin who almost never snipes T train and tries to recap instead. D Train is almost best strategy against Robin I personally would say

Was that a recap or a def train???? And how do you know he was sitting?

Nuke from one village:

D Train from second village followed 1-2 seconds after:

He personally admitted sitting Vedetta while sitting. I also know it must be him because I know his style of play while he sat twist against -ATA- or when we had lil fun in jimmyhawk I think. I have a good memory and quickly learn someones playing style, building/troop builds, when/how one sends fakes etc.

Exceptions exist FCB , the fact that sometimes you are lucky dosen't mean sending D trains is correct.

sending a whole D load as attack to an enemy is wrong at any situation. especially if the account be on the front line like the report you put of Kingqm.

FCB, if you post reports of robins account we will take note. A workmen can only use the tools he has. Myself and robin have helped a few of our ex crash with their setups, as crash's didnt seem the best at times. Why I had so much fun exploiting a few.

Vendetta has a habit of D trains, got that from crash, as well as his 75 day def build. First thing I sorted out for him :icon_razz:

Everyone has their opinion.

Mine and princess are D Trains work and we have successfully exercised it dozen times. If you anyone believes D Trains are bad and don't work might want to search in forum and read other players experiences on it.

I have showed only one example as you and Robin argued it as non workable tactic. And I have proved it does work. I don't need to post 100's of reports where it worked. Yes, offense is built twice quicker then defense. But you get to keep the village when D Train works and most likely wont with T Trains when opponent keeps recapping.

And btw Walsh, im not flaming Robin or You. I am stating my opinion on D Train.

FCB the thing you're not realizing is that while the d train may work in that area because vendettas troops were demolished in that spot, attacking a solid front with a d train where the other players have several nukes is not a good idea. You boast at using that d train to cap and stopping a re cap with a handful of troops. What do you think would have happened if that villa were church-less and it got hit with a full nuke? That's 3 weeks down the drain.

The reason why one sends D Train is to stop immediate recap and it does its job. Stacking is stacking which still has to be done.

For your example what I could do is this:

Send D Train and followed by Supports few seconds after. Opponent would try to recap with nobles between train and support since there obviously be small gap. But most likely fail if D Train is sent and succeed with recap if I have sent T Train.

Except like princess found out, your d train gets sniped and you're now supporting me.

Not trying to bash your play-style...just pointing out why I felt the need to criticize princess way back when. 2 d trains from 10 hours out, both easily sniped killing nearly an entire defensive town on the back end plus one of them had support hitting it for the next 4 hours, allowing me a chance to regroup on that town.

In my book, d trains should only be used for short range recaps after a nuke.

That's your opinion it works in short range only. Mine is it works good in short and long, on caps and recaps. Its not that we have only D Trains mind you, maybe 1 out of 10 trains we send are D Train, but I find it real amusing how so many people don't take advantage of this beautiful and effective tactic.

And how D Train support can possibly be sniped and sitting in your village, its attack, not support we click. And I just checked (to make sure lol) we dont have any support sitting in your village :p

But FCB any play who wants to keep a village like you said can just timed the support to land a second after the Offensive nobles land. Or even send 1 nobles with D to land right after the Offensive train to recap the village and put D there. I just personally find those methods better then a pure D train.

I prefer my noblemen to be accompanied by offence, in worlds where support can't be sent outside the tribe then I'd prefer noblemen with my defenders.

You're saying that you can follow with support behind a d train. I said well if that happens what if it get sniped cuz you sent it from too far away. You lost your train, and are now supporting my town. And someone just pulled 8 supported kingmq villages out of town 2 days ago :), not to mention diheads a few days before that.
