Attention: Cult Allies

Greetings to all newfound friends that Cult has been talking to over the last few days. I try not to post much on these forums, but I wish to clear up some issues on this day:

First of all, I am aware that Cult has been contacting pretty much all the top 40 tribes for aid in their "war" on us, along with several smaller tribes. I am aware that they claim that this war is one started by us. We claim the exact opposite. No amount of convincing can change many set in stone opinions, so my aim today is not to accomplish that.

However, I do beseech you to keep this fight fun and clean. So far, OA has not called on any allies or friends, despite numerous offers of assistance. We do this because of our respect for the war and our desire to keep it 1 vs 1(or 23 on 400 ;). It is a very entertaining war for us, and we hope for Cult as well, and we hope to keep it that way.

In addition, at the current moment, judging by twplus, we are ahead in the war. OA has nobled 10 Cult villages, and Cult has taken none in return, despite their numbers. This makes it a pressing need for Cult to call on allied support. Yet, do their allies truly understand the course of the war? Kreger crows that Sicnarf will fall by tommorow each and every day. Surely after hearing it for 5 days, it no longer has the same ring to it?

For proof of the ennoblements, please check the following links. 1 Cult village that we nobled was kicked from Cult shortly before, and 1 was abandoned, so those two do not show up.

Some people see our points and small numbers and feel that a pre-emptive strike on us is best, and thus side with Cult. I can assure you that OA does not target any specific tribes until they target us. Targeting us simply because of who we are is not a rational view. Indeed, the list of tribes and players with whom we have friendly relations is far far longer than the other side of the ledger.

Why would you seek to fight the battles of a tribe that welcomed a war, thinking it could win quickly, and now calls on aid when it finds its position untenable?

Thusly, I ask that this war be kept between Cult and OA. Of course, other tribes have already joined on the Cult side, but this cannot be helped. I simply ask that we keep the war as it is currently.

Realistically, OA is a streamlined Tribe with seasoned vets. Cult is a Tribe with all types of players....so even with it 23 vs 400 I take that with a grain of salt. Yes, vets should school unprepared players....in fact, Id be embarrased if I was in OA and didnt beat the snot out of rookies. The saying of quality is better than quantity is very true. Maybe hold off on gloating about your accomplishments...cuz...really..beating up on a bunch of rookies isnt something to write home to mom about. No offense to either Cult or OA...this is just how I see this situation.

Ans as for keeping this tribe vs tribe. If you can get others to agree..it is absolutely in your best interest. For I dont think there have been many if any OA takeovers....that would undoubtedlyt change if stronger tribes got involved.

Yes, I suppose the tide might change a little bit if Cult were to get allies in on it, but how much do you think that will really make a difference?

Even if OA were to fall, how would it make Cult look in the eyes of others? There will only likely be another war to be started, and then people will know how Cult seems to 'organize', if you can even call it that, their battles.

I agree that it should stay tribe vs tribe, and don't plan on my own having any part in it. OA has done nothing to provoke us, and since Cult seems to have started this, I feel that they should fight their own battle. Allies are allies, but it is dishonorable to start a war and then flee to them whenever things look rough.

Strategy, not numbers, is the key to winning a war. As a certain someone has said in their profile(: P), War does not determine who is right, but who is left.(Sorry, but I definately like that quote)

It just seems that Cult doesn't seem very capable of reciprocating the same aid their allies would extend to them, regardless of how grand a speech about integrity, honor, unity, etc. by kreger or whatever unfortunate events befall him in real life or how many tribemates he nobles. An arguement against that would be so flawed it couldn't be more flawier.

What needed to be said has been said. I refrain from saying aything else.

In my area Cult44 is organized and does have a Very Qualified leader GrizzlyViking
 
Which is coincidentially where I am... I can say no. Despite demands to stop by Grizzly, support was never sent to limozulu when I continued farming him. If it weren't for evillian no one could have gotten through my defenses. I checked through my reports again, and every other attack consisted of massive swords/spears armies and none of them had any rams or catapults, though there was one 500 axeman army, not that it means much. I give them credit that you might have had taken some resources.

That could be viewed as a Good decision of a leader had that player been required to meet certain defensive standards and Failed to obide by them?
 
It may be so. But we went through the entire routine diplomatic chat over stopping. I'm not entirely sure what happened. The agreement required contact between the member and GrizzlyViking.
 
hmm..i believe that this war should be just tribe Vs. tribe.

My reasoning behind this is, that i dont want to have what happened in world 2 where now all tribes are either on 1 side or the other....i want to hold off on that whole thing later! lol :) so i say let it be tribe vs. tribe....who ever wins, wins....and at least this way we can see who was really just talking up a storm and who was being true about being one of the best!

Anyways - I fully support the tribe vs tribe. Cult started this, they can stick with it through the end and on their own.
 
This war gets more interesting by the day, It doesn't suprise me that Cult have been calling on everyone and anyone for support, after all they are going to lose if they don't do something drastic and quickly.

By lose i mean by whatever means OA wins :icon_wink:

it's nauseating ... all that blood and gore! :icon_eek:

and once he goes on the offense, he's gonna leave everyone standing in the dust. it's looking more and more like a slaughter than a war !:icon_twisted:

I haven't seen them grow by much, infact they're hardly worth my attention. :icon_redface:
 
I'm the closest player to being nobled. And I can say this: I'm not anywhere close to being nobled.
