Barb Finder with Filtering

Approved t13981993

This is a barb finder with filtering script. It can be ran from everywhere practically.

Screenshot_1.png

This is how it will look to the end user:

Screenshot:

This script can be used to have a list of barb vills near the current village and to find barbs inside given parameters, example if you want to find all barbs inside a 20 fields radius, bigger then 1k, etc.

Or you could also use this to noble big barbs, so you could use this script to easily find big barbs on the map (barbs are tasty ... but not for everyone's taste probably so your choice at the end how you use this script).

Changelog:
-v1.1: Script is now translation-ready.

For suggestions, bugs, or if you need help using this script please reply on this thread.

@King Leonardo ,

You can change the current village with another village of yours (just by going to the other village) and then re-run the script and it will work okay.

This can already happen, so what can your suggestion bring new?

Of course. I suggest we can select whatever coordinate we want and not only our villages.

It should be doable ... but out of curiousity, the goal of this script is to help you farm. What is the idea behind running the script for villages you don't own?

The idea is to take a further area to farm and take specific villages from an specific location. When I change the fields to filter to a higher value, sometimes I get villages that I don't want. If we can change the central location I guess we can make a better filter selecting few fields from that location.

Script has been updated to version v1.5.0

On this script update I have worked for this suggestion:

So added a new field on the script:

1624442149368.png

which allows the player to change the current village coordinate to whatever the player wants to use.

There is one side effect to this.

If there are barbarians found inside the given parameters then a table with command options will show ... the commands are generated using as source village your current village ingame, not the current village input field (since the village you enter on the input field might be a village owned by another player).

Thank you too much to listen the suggestion!

How tips can you do to me to start programming this kind of script ?

There is only a small problem, while alternating the radius' and clicking filter the information i would've written there changes back to default, would be cool if i didnt have to always change that :p

What do you mean? When you filter to keep showing the older data for the old filter?

So for example if you filter by 50, then you filter by 20, to keep showing all results from when you had filtered by radius 50?

The bug isn't happening anymore, but something was making it so the numbers / current village coordinate would change back to default when i clicked filter, but it seems to be fixed

Hello @Karilli ,

Thank you for providing the Czech translations.

I have updated the script to include these translations.

Is this script available on Github? I'd love to contribute to it. Making the radius input just a numeric input. I want more freedom there :)

No you can not contribute to this script on GitHub.

Can you explain your use-case since ... I think the ones the script already offers work very well.

So you can even get all the barbs of the world.

What's the gain for example by having it numeric?

Hi guys,

Is'nt possible the Attack button sends automatically the Attack instead of re-address to rally point page?

Thanks in advance

No. That would not be possible since that would be against the rules. So, based on that, the script can not be built to function like that.

Would it be possible to also include player vils into this list? And to exclude barbs?
So that you could source "ALL/Barbs/Player" vils that match the parameters of points & distance?
