One could convincingly argue that a more Defense heavy village ratio would be more effective in a limited hauls world setting, as there is less easy access to fast resource gain - i.e. farming. This has the effect of making Offense heavy village ratios more resource intensive to replace losses, over Defense heavy village build ratios. Basically, since your resource gain in a limited hauls world will be limited to X, you will need to make sure that your villages troop builds and HQ build queues are not too badly exceeding X in terms of resource costs.
On the other side of the coin, as many people will believe Defense builds to be superior to Offense builds in the limited hauls setting - going Offense can conversely make more sense, as a player who succeeds in this world will no doubt have to clear many players who choose to build a Defense heavy first village or villages with these world settings in order to obtain more villages. At the end of the day - it is as always going to be a choice that is largely based on personal preference. No doubt, Defense heavy ratios will be the safer option, but Offense heavy village ratios will allow you to expand more rapidly if you can ensure a constant supply of resources for troop builidng. It depends on the kind of player you are and what your goals for the world will be, what kind of tribe you are in, how skilled of a player you are and a myriad of other things.
Another thing worth noting: with the limited hauls setting, ensuring any Offense and Defense builds you do end up using are balanced in terms of resource uses will be much more important than in regular world settings, as you will need to use resources more conservatively and cannot as easily afford to have a large deficit or surplus of any one resource.

Just want to see what everyone's opinion on this is. This is my second limited haul, and I didnt stay very long on the first one. But I imagine this would be some what similar to no haul ratios
