The texture in #1 is too strong, and covers up too much of the tag for it to look decent.
Lighting in #2 is awful, and the render is too light for the rest of the tag. Also has absolutely no depth.

#2 just has way too much empty space and the render isn't blended well. #1 pulled my vote.

I voted for number 2 because I didn't like the texture in number 1.

I actually do like the texture in number 1. Number 2 ended up very unbalanced and poorly lit.

I can see potential in whoever made no.2, they have the design elements that could form into a good signature maker with a bit of guidance. That's why no.2 got my vote.
