Conquering villages

Hello! This I’d the my second time playing Tribal Wars so I am not a pro at this. The last I played this I was conquered. How do you conquer people? I attack people near me but they are not conquered yet by me. Is it because I’d my beginners protection r do I have to attack and win a certain amount of times?

In order to conquer another village you have to build your village and your armies to the point that you have an Academy and can purchase the resource to be allowed to recruit a noble(most worlds are coin worlds you buy 1 coin per potential noble progressively getting more expensive) each noble can reduce the loyalty of an enemy village by 20-35(usually per world settings) so it would take 4-5 relatively close attacks to conquer a village, or 4-5 attacks with 4-5 nobles at the same time.
