CoronaVirus Emergency Appeal

Hi Everyone... with everything that is going on with the pandemic I'd like to lead a fundraising charity to help people who are not able buy their own supply. If you could be so kind to extend your help? Any amount will be appreciated PLEASE even it's only a dollar or 2 or any amount. We'll totally appreciate it, as it will still make a difference.

do we have any guarantee donations wont get used on pp??
how much of donation will be passed on or will some be taken as "administration fees"??
where will your efforts be focused??

Definitely not going to be used on PP as I don't play anymore for quite sometime already.

There won't be any administration fees and I GIVE MY WORD, that all funds that will be raised here will be directly be given to people on our community who has been struggling ever since lock-downs have been implemented. My focus is to provide enough rice packs and goods to some musicians and contractors (No work No Pay personnel).

For the donations, as I mentioned. I give my word to use it for any means to help specifically contractors like Construction Workers and Bar Performers like musicians who are really having a hard time. I already receive a fair amount of donations from other platforms and would just like to extend and try to get more from anyone who has a good heart. In good faith, we're just asking for anyone who'd be willing to extend their helping hand as during this times, I believe helping one another is the best way to survive this crisis. Any amount may it be a Dollar or 2 can still make a incredible difference. Thank you

I have an update for you after discussing this with my colleagues and while we do appreciate your compassion and sympathize with the intentions of a fundraiser for help, our forum rules in general do not allow postings created for donations, financial gain or support. We are very sorry this is a line we can not cross, since it would open the doors for posts, that are less well-intended than yours. We hope you understand.

If you are a Tribal Wars player who would like to support Lord-Ice's efforts and are confident about it, please get in touch with them via PM (outside of Tribal Wars, or associated services) instead. However, please do remember this general advice:

• Don't blindly trust strangers with your account data, financial data, addresses or other private data without confirming they are legit. Support only people and organisations with your money if you trust them to do the right thing.
• Stick to official and confirmed relief sites when it comes to helping people, if you are unsure about a particular host.
• Be sure to keep all paperwork from any such transaction, just to be on the safe side.

And, of course: Don't forget that you can also help with small things, for example offering to do small trips to the supermarket or the pharmacy for people who are more in danger, or less able, than you are, or just by keeping the rules of social distancing on your part, keep shopping sprees to a minimum, wash your hands regularly, and so on.
