Difference in a church world?

What is the difference with a world with church and without, what does it do?

Sorry for the dumb question, I usually don't play church worlds... :s

defense and offense percentage for fighting, 100% within area, 50% outside.

1 every 11 x 11. If you build in every 7 x 7 you will have massive overlaps.
Churches take up population to build, and a fair amount at that.

So 1 every 11 x 11 and just make sure its well defended and you will not have issues.

So am i right in thinking, it would be tactically best to have tight clusters rather than going for a wide spread? Suppose this would be down to player preference.

Indeed, I like to be spread out alot but cannot do that here :(
Remember to try and always make your church vills defence though, because if you lose that church then.. yeah you can guess :icon_wink:

Not only that but also because of the church pop. Who would want to be sending out a half nuke? :icon_razz:

what kind of pop. does a church take? In ones first village it doesn't seem to take any.

Level 1: 5.000 population
Level 2: 2.750 population(additional)
Level 3: 4.263 population(additional)

and not to mention churches being quite expensive..

Church Cost Structure:
Level 1: 16.000 wood - 20.000 clay - 5.000 iron - 5.000 population
Level 2: 20.160 wood - 25.600 clay - 6.300 iron - 2.750 population(additional)
Level 3: 25.402 wood - 32.768 clay - 7.938 iron - 4.263 population(additional)

a great way to free up some iron though :D

Did I miss the part on a church world where noone ever goes attack units in their first city anymore??

Ive scouted 6 different people near me and all they have built is spears and swords. Its nauseating.

I'm not seeing this overabundance of spears and swords you speak of. :<
