Dear players,

Our new update will be released on Monday, the 11th of May, between 10:00 and 11:00.

The update contains mostly usability improvements.

As usual, the worlds will be unavailable for a couple minutes during the update.

Changes:
  • This update contains preparations for our next event. It will be an adaptation of last year's Rescue the Royalty event, and is planned to start in the week of the 25th of May. A separate announcement with full details will arrive closer to the start date.
  • A sound notification has been added when receiving a chat message. It can be turned off.
  • We added an inline notification for conquering a village. You will now be notified of your glorious victory!
  • Certain introduction quests will now be skippable for players who have previously conquered at least one other village. The skippable quests are mainly the quests based around introducing new players to the social aspects of the game, like updating your profile. Skipping a quest gives you the full reward.
  • The effect of the night bonus will now be displayed in the village's "Active Effects" area when active, with a moon icon.
  • Reports on non-archer worlds will now specify when troops are visible due to killing one third of the defending troops.
  • New bbcodes have been added as an alternative to [unit]unitname[/unit] with :unitshortname: (example :spear: or :sword: )
  • In a future update, we will be removing the option to use custom graphical packages and custom css stylesheets. If someone is still interested in using custom css in the future, there are browser extensions which can fulfill the same function. The option to use pre-defined alternative village graphics created by winners of the "10 years" graphics contest will remain.
  • Bugfixes and minor tweaks

I see issues with this in mid to late game...How does it handle with mass conquers?

I do kinda agree, with the 2 posts....could be a problem late game. Also, it could help with tests and do this all in one update, but im sure tests are done before hand!:)

they do test out the features on TW.Beta. but that is such a limited amount of people who play it and even if they like not everyone in the side of the game actually like it
