Dos X vs IDS/IF war

Good point humpty at this stage nobody should be nobling anything under at least 5k. I mean come on there's players going barb left, right and center and If any IDS player had wanted they could of nobled a load of 8k+ barbs right on the border with Dos and KTA but none of them did.
Instead they have decided to noble out most of there farms in there core which I think most people will agree only hurts them in the long run as they won't have any farms left

The noble 2k barbs to get more resources. This way they dont have to farm it and waste effort?

Agreed its much easier to send the resources needed via market to where they needed instead of constantly attacking them.
But i hate taking barbs anyway much rather farm em

When your as large as some people are..a noble is far more valueable then a 2k point barb...that 1 barb cost soooooo much.

^That

Think about how many coins it takes Rebel (#1 Dos X player) or someone of comparable size in order to get one noble. Getting those resources back from a hypothetical 2K barb would take a really long time.

I see you dodged the part where I said that IDS had the option to Noble a ton of 8k+ barbs, there was 400+ in k24 alone. If they had of pushed for them they would of regained control of K24.

One thing I will give IDS thou they have done a great job in the east (with help from nyuk) If you look at past maps they have almost totally removed Dos X and KTA from K31,32,,,,,Well done

It costs me 1050 coins per noble presently. I'll let you do the math.

OK I hate to break it to you, but noble cost in terms of time needed to generate the resource from mines, is basically the same whether you are a 1M or 100M player. Farming for resources gets you less and less return on investment (ROI) as you grow larger, for example, a 100M player will need to farm 100X more resources than a 1M player to build the same amount of nobles in the same period of time, meaning 100X more time spent on sending out troops.

Therefore, nobling a 2k barb actually gets you better ROI as you grow larger. But of course I'd only recommend it if absolutely no other options are available or if the location is extremely strategic.

can you explain the part in bold to me?

nobling a 2k barb is a better return then nobling a fully built village....hmmm i trust your not an accountant

I believe you missed the "if no other option available" part.

kokobest I kind of get what your saying even thou I defiantly don't agree with it, but when your at war unless the barb is in your enemy territory and you need a jumping off point there is no reason to be nobling barbs,,,,,,,Your at war you should be nobling the enemy not 2k or less barbs.

P.S. when I say you I don't actually mean You I mean generally in wars most tribes prefer there members to noble the enemy

You over think things.

- Nobling a 2k barb leaves you at a -1, sometimes even a -2.
- Farming is a waste of real-life time.

Hope that clears thing sup.

100mill resources farmed is about an extra 1200 coins, so for me at the moment its worth about 1.33 nobles per 100mill farmed, if I do that 3 times a week thats an extra 4 nobles on top of what my villages produce, 16 a month etc, from there the equations go up of course, but you get the picture, farming is well worth it if you do it regularly. As far as nobling 2k barbs, its neither right nor wrong, it simply is, however I will say that nobling a whole lot of them is detrimental to your growth. But if you have 100 nobles it probably wont matter to you, horses for courses people, Whatever you do just dont noble 2k barbs anywhere near me :icon_
