Yeah, to pressure us into taking on the entire quadrant at once, to make us more vulnerable to tribes from other quadrants.
But putting aside rank and honor (great job at dominating the subject matter), and just looking at strategy: sometimes pacing yourself intermittently is the best strategy. So that you can at the same time take care of smaller tribes and also prepare for midgame.
