Effective Farming: Strategy Vs. Time/Spamming

Viewing a couple of the top in a day rankings, a couple of accounts stood out as inefficient farmers.

Lets's review a couple.

agathon - Rank 2 villages plundered (68,373 on august 24th) vs rank 11 resources plundered (1,858,453 on august 24th)
Wai Yuu Hai Ding? - Rank 4 villages plundered (36,729 on august 31) vs Rank 27 resources plundered (1,333,574 on august 31)
hellyaaa - Rank 13 villages plundered (16,802 on august 18) vs Rank 55 resources plundered (762,294 on august 16)

Now for some accounts on the other end of the spectrum:

Frozen Beauty - Rank 4 resources plundered (2,748,917 on sept. 2) vs rank 16 villages plundered (14,470 on august 29, not even same day)
Krovikian Mist - Rank 8 resources plundered (2,155,093 on august 24) vs rank 17 villages plundered (13,738 on august 24)

How can an account plunder nearly 55,000 more villages but end up with 300K-1M less resources? Also how can an account plunder the same amount of villages but loot nearly 2M more?

Please discuss your thoughts.

Frozen beauty looks like they were merging accounts probably farmed the one they were nobling so large untouched farms, you could have pmed me if you needed basic help with farming. Also time differences and areas differences and with fa enhancement its not really consuming to spam farm. Offensive villages location, nobling local farmers. This is all basic stuff

clearly the 1.4 mill came from less than 3.3k hauls, so our average haul is above 400 :eek:
normally, we make the top 25, but last few days spent clearing targets, so we fell out :(
but when we make top 25, clearly we are laziest about it, or most efficient is the nice way mett puts it :)

that is an average haul of 36
how do you farm more than 10x what we farm, yet walk away with less?
its not less competition as somebody posited, clearly you're doing something wrong bro
set me as sitter, we'll set you straight ;)

care to explain the competition part? because i skimmed through the top 50 "in the day rankings" and couldnt find any players around you in the top 50 farmers in a day. Could be wrong, so would be nice if you could throw some light on that.

here are 3 top 25 players who i know share my farming area cuz we all share commands

i've not played much on these new tiny worlds, is there really any area in the world where there is not much competition?
