There is a way to go slow to LC, but it isn't ALWAYS the best route. To say too early for LC is just "noob". Ok, maybe your strategy might be better because you have a more troops. However, their activity on this account will be enough to carry off the early LC.

Best strategy - Not always.

I could see if I wasn't active there are better ways to start, but farming is where it's at early world, and LC do it best. I usually get 100-200 spears then push for LC.

An unspoken advantage to rushing LC is most players do not, and thus there is a lot of cheap iron in the market. I can go without making much iron and still crank out LC. You make the most out of the resources you get, and with the LC you get more.

Nacho and TGC only had a few spears to do this with. Either way though, he will soon be getting some huge farming runs

The game is about playing your area, not some cookie cutter approach to the game. That already proves how little you understand. There are times for different strategies, but rarely would it mot be highly beneficial for an active player to get LC as quickly as possible.

The is no best approach, only a best approach for your current situation. But the idea is always to get LC as soon as possible if active. Now if you're surrounded by hostiles you might have to postpone that, and assorted other reasons, but not as a game plan but rather more as a reaction to the situation.

Slower?? I'll have LC by days end easily and I started the world about 12+ late, so I'm right behind them.

In slower I was thinking days out of BP not hours.

I am afraid it is you that doesnt quite understand the economics of this game. For one thing, you mentioned the "opportunity cost" of building the market up a few levels early on. The market is one of the tricks of the trade for successful start ups. You would be amazed at what gains you can get on the market especially if you engineer your pit setup to capitalize.

In slower I was thinking days out of BP not hours.

For me, the slower path to LC is going to about 100 spears, 10/6/2 mines. Anything more built up than that is too slow, and would not be a good strategy.

Purple Predator knows little about farming.

Damn I hate it when one of the most efficient farmers I've ever seen knows nothing about what he's doing.

I guess the rest of us are just screwed and must bow down to the superior knowledge of this guy that claims he knows so much with no proof backing his words.
