A tragic comedy of errors
This is a tale of tragedy. Tragedy for an enemy to be sure, but a tragedy all the same.
To set the scene, we go back 4 days to a kingdom far away in K74. This kingdom has been on the frontlines of the war since it's inception. The lines have moved so many times that they are a blur to observers.
Blood is spilled daily on these lines. Each side trying to gain an advantage over the other. Each side trying to devise devious plans to usurp each other from the turf they claim as home.
This started as one such devious plan. It involved 3 [ally]Fenix[/ally] players - [player]pani20[/player], [player]rubberduck[/player], and [player]la de andre[/player]. They discovered [player]rx7man1993[/player] was inactive, and sought to gain some of his vils, deep behind our K74 lines.
Ever the ardent observer, [player]jedamijo[/player] caught sight of their transgressions into our lands, and raised the alarm. Once sounded, players from all over the kingdom rode in to squash the rebellion. Successfully we took all the vils back, sending their armies crawling, bleeding back to their heathen lands.
The battle for one of those vils will go down into the history books. Forever lauded in lore as the most impressive show of camaraderie ever told.
[village]453|729[/village] took a number of attempts to gain back. Once it was nobled by myself, I found attacks had been launched at it from [player]pani20[/player]. He sent his troops from 2 different continents, a total of 15 attacks landing more than 24 hours after I'd nobled it.
I raised a cry to my comrades on the battlefield. They in turn echoed their calls back through the valleys to their home territories.
REINFORCEMENTS NEEDED was the call.
Through fields of blood, meandering valleys. Over mountains, and across deserts. From continents all over our great land the cry was heard. And they came...
In the 100s first. Then swelling to 1000s, the troops rolled in, took up their positions and waited. The early arrivals were witness to a sight they will pass down through generations in stories of the greatest battle ever fought. Flowing like a tidal wave over the land, more reinforcements came - not by the 100s, or even 1000s, not even by 10s of 000s. The wave that washed over this tiny village was hundreds of thousands strong.
By the time [player]pain20[/player]'s suicidal forces arrived they were greeted by a shout from well over 500,000 voices. The shout alone killed the majority of the infidels. A few valiant troops tried to spill our blood before they fell, but pitifully few of them succeeded.
'Surely,...' you say, 'surely, you exagerate the numbers. There can't have been that many voices in one village.' I tell you true, 'The greatest army this game has ever seen assembled here. The greatest army this world has known, shouted their war cry, and watched the enemy fall. The greatest army ever - made up of true and loyal [ally]CLOROX[/ally] warriors, stood here.'
Tell your mates. Tell your wife. Tell your children and your grandchildren. Tell them the story of the greatest army that ever lived. Tell them of
The greatest tribe that ever walked the lands of this world
...and I have
proof
