When you regained Aegean Macedonia you killed 17,000 people and burned 170 villages! And now you claim that Macedonians are Greek, and note, the same country tha tried to kill its own people!

WHen ? During the balkan wars?

We know that the Greeks residing the the southern part of Greece,
in Macedonia, are called Macedonian..

As me i am called an Athenian,

As someone living in Epiros, is called Epirotes..

YOU, citizens of "FYROM", former part of Yugoslavia suddenly claimed
to be Macedonians, descendants of Alexander the Great after
you became an independent state...with no IDENTITY.
So you stole one..

So the weight of proof lies at your hands.
Not of the Greek people, whether he lives in Macedonia, Epiros,Crete,
or Thessalia..

He won he empire, with 36,000 Macedonians and with only 7,600 Greeks.

And while he was battling the Persians, guess who was on their side, Greeks! Wow!

greek during this period referrs to a racial grouping. There were greeks on both sides. Now why dont you actually answer a question put to you or follow a line of argument instead of continually raising slightly reworded points.

So you run out of arguments and start calling people idiots ??

We all can see who is the idiot who has been fed
propaganda at its "finest".

Open your eyes, causes.

I m done with this "argument" until you can actually counter something
and MAKE an argument .

You may call your selves Never Never Land and have Peter Pan as
your President.

I couldnt care less.
I dont even like Greeks radical rightwings (that includes Greeks living in southern part of Greece which we GREEKS call Macedonia)
so dont wonder if you say hi and i dont respond.

WARRING CITY STATES

what part of this do you not understand. Whenever an alliance of city staters was trying to free one of their number from another city state (especially if the alliance included athens) they had a tendancy to preach about the liberty of greece.
WARNING YOU ARE AN IDIOT

Macedonia was never a Greek City State!

"On the Symmories, namely, that Demosthenes originally stood close to a group of politicians who were vigorously combating the radical democratic influence; indeed, it is only to this degree that he can be said to have come from any one party at all. It is true that in later years, when he is coming to grips with the danger of Macedonia's foreign yoke, he naturally appeals to the lofty ideal of Greek liberty."

Is it me or does Foreign mean a dfferent country?

thats your stance. I am entitled to argue based on my stance.

since you seem to have retreated to petty insults: Go kill some bosnians or something

are you?
Uhm, Bosnia and Herzegovnia are very good friends of Macedonia's.

I m still waiting to see what ALEKSANDER or how ever its spelled in SLAVIC
(or do you call your language macedonian ?)

MEANS

I am still waiting for ANSWERs to MY arguments.

But i will never get them,
you know why causes ?

Because there arent any.
You cant provide the answers,
answers to simple quotes from an ordinary Greek.

I would love to see you argue with a HISTORIAN of ANY NATION
(expect yours, even of yours if he was not a radical rightwing)
on THIS EARTH.
It would be the shortest debate EVER..

Because there isnt any debate ..as i said in my first post here:

In any case occupying 25% of ancient Macedonian land does not give them the right to steal the Macedonian history and culture. The Macedonian civilization was part of the ancient Greek civilization. This is well known and recorded in history books. It is part of Greece's national inheritance and it can not be used by anyone else.

And to answer a future argument perhaps:
"If in fact, "Macedonia is Greece", how come they feel the need to emphasize, to shout, and to proclaim over and over again? After all, we never hear them proclaiming that 'Thebes is Greece', or 'Sparta is Greece' ".

If the Slavs wanted to name heir country "Republic of Thebes" or "Republic of Sparta" we would shout out "Thebes and Sparta are Greek". But they are claiming to be Macedonians so we shout that
"MACEDONIA WAS GREEK"
"MACEDONIA IS GREEK"
"MACEDONIA WILL BE FOREVER GREEK"

Wrong on all terms. :)

Aleksander Makedonski = Alexander The Great, I thought you new that.
His name in the Macedonian Language, yes it does exsist. :)

Its simple because.

MACEDONIA WAS MACEDONIAN
MACEDONIA IS MACEDONIAN
MACEDONIA WILL ALWAYS BE MACEDONIAN

25% OF MACEDONIAN LAND?! TRY 51%!

"The boy's name Aleksander \a-lek-sander, al(e)-ksa-nder\ is a variant of Alexander. "

"The boy's name Alexander \a-lexa-nder, alex(an)-der\ is pronounced al-ek-ZAN-der. It is of Greek origin, and its meaning is "man's defender, warrior". From the Latin form of the Greek name Alexandros. The name was probably coined originally as a title of the goddess Hera, consort of Zeus."

I answered yours, not answer mine. That^.

While your at it this too:
"If Philip was not to remain a permanent menace to the Greek world from outside, it was necessary to get him positively involved in the fate of Hellas; for he could not be eluded. Of course in the view of any of the Greek states of the period, this problem was comparable to that of squaring the circle."

From outside, doeswnt that mean .. Macedonia is a country outside of Greece, why yes!

I'll answer yours when I get back from school.

Some of us need an education, unlike Greeks. They just think, think wrong.

well i cannot satisfactorily answer that. However it is worth noting that in Plutarch's descriptions of the laws of Sparta the term foreigner is used repeatedly to describe non spartan peoples from both inside and outside of the ancient greek boundaries.

hahahahahaha
As i understand...
causes actually believes he has answered my arguments..

where ?

there where he says:
"You are wrong on all terms:) "

Well thats typical..as he also believes they are descendants
of Alexander the Great.
oh they are Macedons..
why ?
because they BELIEVe that so it HAS to be true..

Like when people believed earth was flat..
it HAD to be since they believed it..

AHAAHAHAHAHAHHHHHHHHAHAHAAHH

They werent cosidered as a Greek tribe. :\

They called us barbarians, a word they only used for non greeks. Like Persians and Macedonians.

I've read this whole thread and this post sticks out to me. To restate myself I was born in FYROM, but my parents are a mix of Canadian and actual Greek. First of all, we, the Slavics, didn't live there (or even exist really) so how could we, the Greeks, have been able to call us, the Slavics, barbarians? Sure, maybe some City-states in areas of Greece called the Macedonians but does that deem the whole was thinking that?

If Macedonia wasn't Greek then how come when Persia wanted revenge against Greece did they attack Macedonia too? Macedonia must how been apart of Greece by all logic in that situation alone. And why after the Greeks made the Persians withdraw from the Mainland did they first Sacrifice men to free Macedonia, and then after that struggle push them out of Ionian territory?

First of all you a Greek, born in Republic of Macedonia? Wierd. Well obviously, your parents are Greek so obviously they'll say Alexander is Greek?

Macedonia and Persia were on friendly terms because they both wanted Greece, before, Phillip waged war.
