At this time, HOT is announcing a cease fire in the war on Xig/ESL.

HOT will be pulling out of the war effective immediately. I know that some of you will dislike this course of action and some will even hate it, but it will happen none the less. I could site many minor reasons why this is a good idea, but I could also site an equal number of good reasons to remain in the fight. The over whelming reason is that we are paying too high a price in the south for what started out to be FTR's war that we fully supported. The alliance has handed Xig & ESL a crushing defeat and while we have all gained overall, HOT has paid the price for those gains with heavy loses in the south.

I understand that many may disagree with my decision on this matter, but there will always be other targets and other wars...

And I've been told there's other tribes sacrificing their souther players to keep their other areas supported. HOT refuses to do that.

And the alliance falls apart. :icon_cry:

HOT leaving does not mean the alliance has fallen apart. Everyone else is still very much eager and anxious to fight and Xig is broken enough that not having HOT involved won't be a huge problem. We appreciate their help to this point and thank them for it, but don't require it to finish the job here.

Hot did our part did we not? when war came knocking we push over our enemies in k45 (the few that were there) in k35, k46 (good fight), k56, k26, just to name the ones i took part in, and the many more.

And besides, we are just leaving more villages for the other alliance members, im sure they got more men to take them out.

Good to hear it! I detest family tribes (I know w2 is family infested :icon_evil:) but I detest XiG even more! Huzzah for the alliance!

Aww, KV, what did we ever do to you? lol :icon_wink:

EDIT - On topic, I didn't get to see much of HOT's action up north, so I will simply go from hearsay that they did well, but like McM0mmy said, especially in K75, HOT was losing more then it would be worth to remain in. I'm not just saying that because I'm XiG, I'm saying that because I have village on 75 and saw what Turk and them did.
