That has happened before a few hours while I was playing
I was attacked by someone so I attacked a inactive player to avoid battle. But a ally of him attacked me too. And his army hit just a few milisecs after my one has returned:



Is tehere a cheating possibility?

No clue why you'd think that'd require cheating.

They either got lucky, or the player you attacked mail the player that attacked you and told him when your troops returned.
