How to minimize server lag?

I got the overdue thing on my attacks and then i looked at time to return and said NaN:NaN:NaN:NaN:NaN wut up wit dat,i was fraid i lost my farming D:

important question real quick no one has asked yet....are you clicking the attack button at the time it says or the confirmation for attack button that could make the 2-5 second delay difference...between clicking the attack button and clicking the ok button with regular lag is 2-5 seconds.

I click OK button when at the time it says.

I do live in Australia... sooo.... and no its not sattelite, normal ADSL

if your lag is 4 sec then send 4 seconds earlier?
