Just wondered, if the word was starred out, would you still find it inappropriate?

Would you only find inappropriate if an offensive term is used towards someone?

etc, etc.

And finally, time for a quick moan, is this 'inaproppriate language'?

Not even glasses will protect you from [scary voice] THE BOLDING! [/scary voice]
???

By starring out a word, you protect those that don't know its meaning from learning the word and its meaning.
If a person already knows the meaning and therefore the word, then the damage is already done.
