One player unable to play or leaving doesn't effect the organization of a good tribe(s). There are always checks and balances in such tribes. Also, a good leader would never abandon the tribe he led without appointing a good and worthy successor.
Probably you might be correct on that, just assuming your hypothetical point just might be true, but then you also may need to understand, the troops might have died for good cause, the basis of this game, killing enemy troops. and also, though probably you might have known something very silly and basic. But still to remind you, they can be retrained within a couple of days too (unless you opt not to do so). Hence, that thought is baseless and couldn't be the reason.
A suicide note is a suicide note, be it one liner or an essay. Never heard of anything termed as semi-suicide note.
