Being skill full with your troops doesnt mean you dont use militia it means as also stated above (or maybe in another thread)
I said being skill full with troops is knowing whats being sent at your and killing the smaller armies and armies with cats in them and letting the larger armies and armies with no cats in them just hit you and go home with no hauls.
But if your gonna take a big hit and use militia doesnt mean your not being skillful with your defense just means your not being skill full with the settings of a no haul world.

You wont know whats coming at you till the second round of the attacks, by then your wall is 0 your farm is 1 and your hq is catted. You wont get to build a wall you wont have militia your troops will die much easier. the larger armies have the most cats in them (99% of the time) so go stop them with 0 wall.

This rarely happens in one wave, only a good tribe who planned a cat op out will ever display something like this on the first try. Which maybe theres one tribe every world if that. Thats good enough at start up to display any skill like that. I personally doubt the tribes attacking him have enough skill to know if the wall helps defense or not.
