As for amazing leadership...gj to a leader who was disliked by the whole community, made a number one tribe through a huge number of mergers, and just as the biggest war so far starts, leaves the game. youre right hes better than me in every way.
As for current and future allies, to everyone that reads this, im sure if you were serious about an alliance you would actually respond back and keep in contact. Otherwise i dont think you would be an ally...would you?
Of course deathless is right in every way, so not making contact and communicating makes you the best allies EVAR /hugs.

I think this is mostly a case of failure to update. The NAP that we (STACHE) had with MCD was dissolved once Uldor stepped down and nobody knew who was going to lead. A mail was sent to Uldor and a follow-up mail was sent to a few of their top points players since we did not know who was assigned as new leader.

I believe that many will agree that dropping an alliance and declaring war right away is kinda fishy.
I can't deny that your tribe gained many things from this desicion.

You might dislike a player/leader but that doesn't necessary make him a bad leader/player.
Another top tribe merged 3 times, why didn't I see you on the Forums making remarks about that?
He had to face some RL issues, what would you do in his place?

Yup, a good ally must keep in touch, you are right about this.
But breaking the alliance with them didn't make you better than them, just smarter for taking the chance to war them.
