Alright, I haven't played in awhile and honestly, I didn't even know this was a "limited haul" world until earlier today when I got on the forums for the first time, since I've been back. I started 2-3 days ago.. So I kinda screwed myself by rushing troops like a normal world.. Being lazy and not reading everything on the report didn't help much either. So I have a couple questions about this setting. First, I'm assuming haul limit goes up according to points, so if I constantly keep my points raising all day, will the haul limit update and also go up throughout the day? Or does it not go up until the beginning of the next day? I went straight for troops and worried little about mines(until i realized the settings), and I'm on my 3rd ish day, mines are only at 14/13/7. I saw the thread asking where everyones mines are from when the world started and I feel like mine seem very low compared to what they should be.. So since my mines aren't up to "par", should I restart? Thats all the questions I have for now. I know I'll get some flame for this :icon_redface:

Also, any other tips, so I don't make any other noob mistakes would be much appreciated.. Thanks. :icon_razz:

I wouldn't restart. Just get your mines up. The haul limit starts at 2000 and goes up 42 every hour (1000 a day).

Get looooads of mines and enough troops to keep safe and you'll be fine. Build a good army when you have higher mines (25+ ) and kill stuff.

I'm going to quote myself to explain how Limited Hauls works;

You start of with a haul limit of 2000 resources and this limit increases every hour. Every hour past your start date, you will be able to haul 41.7 more resources than your previous limit, at least for the 1 village stage. Also, it's important to highlight that there's no specific time at which your haul limit resets; the amount you haul is taken away from your limit 24 hours after you haul it. As such, if you hit your haul limit as fast as possible, you will haul more than those who wait for those 41.7 resource increments to add up before farming. While 41.7 resources doesn't sound like much, it does add up and there starts to be quite large gaps between total resources hauled, even though people still have the same haul limit. There is also a hard cap of 100 000 resources for this world, meaning you can't haul more than 100 000 resources in 24 hours regardless of how long you've been on the world or how many villages you have.

There is a previous thread discussing mine whoring strategies here, but just be careful as there is some wrong information posted there. As for restarting, I don't think it would be that beneficial as you'll be a further 2 days behind and the rim won't have expanded much. The general idea of focusing on mines would be a good one to follow.
