Losing Troops when no losses reported

Hi all,

I'm coming back into tribal wars after about 10 years being off. I'm still early game and I've noticed something I can't account for when attacking barbarian camps. I still have beginner protection if that is at all relevant, but here's the issue. I'm missing some (not a lot, but some) of my spear fighters and swordsmen, though the reports show no losses. Can someone help me understand where they troops are vanishing to?

I've done the math and it appears to line up with one party of units. I've been deleting the reports from my inbox so perhaps I missed the one where they all died. I'll not be deleting the reports so I can check if it happens again.

Villages have a standard defense value, and the attacking force needs a greater defense than that, otherwise losses will ensue -- even if no forces are posted in the village. Not sure if this is the same for barbarian camps, but this is likely the case. The report should still show that the units were lost, however.

There is a separated folder for reports from the farm assistance.
I assume your reports are in there.
Also it automatically removes reports in that folder if a newer is available for that same village.
