LWS...How do you stand it?

I received a note today that made me look at the tribal ODD ratings. What I found there looked rather odd.

As attacker

Well needless to say, the tribe that truly deserves to be #1 on the offense and defense scales was there. Also, there were no surprises for #2, it's well deserved.

Ranks 3-5 however should cause LWS a little concern. Remember, TW is tribe of only 2 players and well past their glory. They haven't been really active in...what???...a year.

Despite that, ATEN and EA are just unable to pass them. What is more, defensively, those 2 players are better than Aten and EA combined. TW > ATEN + EA. Offensively, the situation is close to the same. In other words, those 2 players are worth more than the 91 players in both tribes combined.

If LWS was truly interested in conquering this world, they would drop their alliance with EA and ATEN and hook up with TW. This can only lead me to the conclusion the LWS is just not serious about winning this world After all, statistics don't lie.

either that...or they drop diplomacy with aten and elaud...and team up with the real hardcore players...Ta...and end game that way...just my opinion

I did a math course once that had statistics and it was really hard. Of course math always is hard, especially the older you get. I remember this one time....

Well, in the best-case scenario, LWS could give up rank 1, to TA|REB. Then, make an alliance with TW, and/or TA|REB, the conquest would be 100% sure. But, if LWS hook up with TW, there's still a huge force that stands ;)

Hey Junk, I know numbers can be confusing for you...

So I am typing slowly for you.


Under Ranking Click on Opponents Defeated (still with me?)

Now this is the difficult part.

See the names with [EGAten] after them; for example __predator__[EGAten]

They have a number behind the name; for example __predator__[EGAten] 72.80

Now find a piece of paper or your calculator and add up top 10 names that have [EGAten].


You will find a number 651.10

Well done!

Now if you want a challenge add up ALL the EGAten numbers and report back to us :)

To make it more interesting add up the top 10 REB names too. Then we can laugh at the comparison.

As I'm sure your aware junk, those stats are based on OD earned by players in each respective tribe since it's formation. Funnily enough EG|Aten hasn't been around all that long in the overall scheme of things.

Infact, going by first conquers for Aten and LWS, EG|Aten has only been around since the 1st of February last year (2010). EG|LWS however has been around since the 23rd of August 2006. And out of interest, TW has been around since (roughly) the 12th of August 2006.

So in other words, in one year Aten has accumulated circa. 81% ODA, 55% ODD & 66% Total OD, of what TW achieved in over 3 years.

ODA:

4 EG|ATEN 579,39 Mio.

ODD:
3 Tribalwar 930,03 Mio.
4 EG|ATEN 508,67 Mio.

OD:
3 Tribalwar 1.644,59 Mio.
4 EG|ATEN 1.088,06 Mio.

A more realistic picture are the stats presented by TW Stats, based on the OD of residing members in a tribe.

Even with 70 players in Aten their OD is still the lowest of the 3 big tribes and their average is the lowest out of the top 5 tribes, so yeah olderthandirt, anything else you want to say or add on?

well, that was boring!! im sure it was overwhelmingly self amusing though.
how about we use the kiss method..keep it simple stupid... and just look at total OD. this is where it actually got tricky for me cause it would seem a tribe atens size would have more then 4 players in the top 40... yes, i said top 40! so, type really really slow and walk us through that one would ya? btw, be easier to find the egaten players if you start from last page and work your way towards the 1st...just saying for those who will follow older's well put directions

Wasn't ATEN just formed of the CE branch? Pretty sure they kept changing the tag, but adding the active players.

I'm a little dull, so I just want to make sure that I understand...

I take the top 10 ATEN players...you know the one's that have played for 4 years, are highly active and skilled...

for example __predator__[EGAten] 72.80...

and come up with a number less than a tribe of 2 inactives...

...sounds like a waste of time to me.

I didn't pay attention at the time...which faction was the one used to form EG|ATEN?

ATEN (the original main ATEN branch), ATEN|C, CE, W, D, H, J, S, Sa. or another? Then again...main and C, I know were around since the beginning of the game (c being the former tribe gameon). D and H were Rightie's old tribes of Hobos (again around since the beginning). CE and J came through the CE merger (again around since the beginning of the game, although I'm not 100% positive about J). W...well that one was always out to lunch. S was form Xig.3 (I think) and was around at least since the Warhawg days. Sa was originally Roma, I recall them from my early Force days. So, I m not quite clear of which tribe wasn't around all that long, because I don't recall ATEN disbanding when this war began.

As you know junk is the tribe OD stats pretty incomplete for a look at a longer time. As they only include points that have been taken by a player while they was a member of the specefik tribe and the tribe keep the points even if the player change tribe or delete the account. As exempel is my points from when I was a member of LoL gone from tribe OD as we did delete LoL and all did join LWS as we wanted to keep the main part of our ingamge forums.

If we look at the ODA of all present members of some tribes we will find this (numbers is rounded 2 times, first when I did copy from the ingame list and then the final number).

ODA
1. EG|LWS - 1.923,19 million
2. TA|REB - 1.884,34 million
3. EGAten - 1.607,63 million
4. EG|EA - 520,18 million
5. TASPQR - 308,71 million
6. TW - 21,76 million


btw, XiG.3 did become AtenX if I remember correct and not S.
