Right now there aren't any merchant buffs in the game,
The suggestion would be to add Merchant booster items that work in a similar way the raid boosters or barbarian raiders do,
where it would make merchants
travel fasters (5%, 10%, 15%),
or
transfer more resources (+10%, +15%, +25%)
for a set amount of time (24h, 48h).
