He would go yellow/red frequently and told me he wouldn't support any other Nyuk member (offensively or defensively) until they proved themselves to him. But that's enough of Nyuk's personal troubles, as this thread isn't meant for that purpose.

Nyuk and Mod never had an agreement. The closest thing was Jill saying that our tribes don't need hostilities till fall and that our tribes don't benefit from a war with each other. I would have to look up the convo to see what all was said, but there was never a proposed "agreement". We never approved of your war with Dos, but as Jill said -- it was better them than us at the time. Admitting to what exactly? I'm not ashamed of anything I did nor do I feel I need excuses for it.

I don't deny being a prick to you -- but if you wished for something to go peacefully, perhaps you should leave the threats for someone you can bully around.

:icon_surprised: LOL, I have no idea what "little dig" I ever made towards you...i do know that you were so rude towards me in a chat that half the people in it PM'd me to ask if i was ok and confirm that you are basically (to quote shane and keep it polite) "pig ignorant"

Since you had already spoken to shane as half of evocablepanic, i find it very interesting that you didnt know that i was on council...both my skype and my sig here clearly say evocablepanic. Perhaps in Nyuk you have only one co player on an account as duke or baron...how does that work? Someone removes privies everytime they go off line and asks to be reinstated when they come back on line?

Why else would i get in touch with you? After hearing for months how much everyone disliked dealing with you, it certainly was not because i thought you would be fun to talk to. However, usually i do get along with people, so i wrongly thought maybe we could sort out tribal stuff as dukes.

What I noticed was that anytime I or Phil suggested actually working out a process to deal with future problems, all you had to offer was that it had never been necessary in your dealings with Jill to have firm agreements, so you saw no need to make any with us.

Water under the bridge now...given how poorly your tribe did against Dos, and how poorly Dos has done against us, i dont think anyone here is worried that jointly your two tribes will do any better :icon_rolleyes:

Just because you don't play an active role in leadership doesn't mean you aren't trusted with the information.

The problem is you never had a process to suggest. I asked for the K's to be switched up so we didn't have such a mess and could form a line of sorts. When your guys told me no mdk asked a couple players to come down to help share the burden for when war started. I told him I wasn't interested and that barb nobling wasn't really tribe policy. He talked with a couple members and 1 agreed to move down there. I didn't know anyone agreed to it and honestly wasn't that big of a deal that it did happen. Plus, the only thing you guys wanted to talk about I had no information on and you wouldn't provide any. You said that the information was given to you "in confidence".

At this point there was really nothing we could work out. All (or most of) the food was eaten in the shared K's. The process should have been figured out when there was an abundance of food -- not after it was all taken care of.

But as far as diplo was concerned, your players had already launched nobles at 2 of my players. You guys were 1 act from me prepping for a declaration and that happened with Beli. The only reason Jill was brought up was because I felt that if she was in power, the way we dealt with things, the players would have been called off and we wouldn't be in the situation we are in now. Plus, it was you guys that said we had no diplomatic relations -- I was just pointing out that Jill and I didn't need anything because we worked together in fixing the problems. That had little to nothing to do with me agreeing or disagreeing with anything we could have worked towards.

Disappointed there is no Poem. I do miss that element of Nyuk.

I will give credit for Nyuk to come after us. I will not claim some negligence about how we did not expect this. The pieces were there and the puzzle was forming together towards this picture. There really is no "main reason" why I suppose they have declared. We can go around in circles countless times on small specifics, but that will get trivial. I have spoken to Arith trying to figure out what exactly is wrong and what could be fixed. There was never a proposal from their end. ModWar was willing to work with Nyuk, but this is the path they chose... and I do not blame them one bit. Us ModWarians are finally excited that a tribe is bringing a fight to us. Lets see what you all are made of on the battle field. I stated several times when proposing solutions that if they are looking for war we will gladly provide them.

Good luck to Nyuk. You will need it. Expect me to be civil as always, but I may not expect the same from some of my mates. We have developed some terrible distaste for your tribe.

A very insightful statement. A fact that I am surprised that anyone has even noticed, let alone someone from outside Nyuk.

Undermined he did to an extent, but I must admit that over time I gradually pulled myself away from this game, thus allowing Chris more and more power.

Another fact - I saw that relations with Modwar would deteriorate with my departure. I came back to offer to try and fix things. Chris rejected my proposal.

I think that Chris has overall done a good job with the tribe, and in my stead (gradual quitting) he was the best option for a replacement.


Wow, it feels so good that this is my first post in months.

I just want to say good luck to both sides. :)
