Might not be everyone's cup of tea but what about a way of making an agreement of sorts?

If you want to ally with a tribe, you 'lock' it in for an agreed upon period and for that entire period you can support each other but not attack (no backstabbing), when the 'contract' expires, it can be renewed or terminated. As for NAPS, no attacking and no supporting. Combined with tribe lock, I think these settings could be cool, unless you prefer backstabbing...

Hi

This was suggested before and it is not within the vision of the developers. We do not intend to implement any kind of technical restrictions tied to diplomacy, nor make it binding. It is part of the game to absolutely trust the tribe(s) you NAP or ally with, which also makes backstabbing part of the game.
