Most respected players from the top tribes

I stole this from leprecon's thread, but added my own twist. I thought it'd be great to think of each of the top tribes in w3, and of each tribe which members are the most respectable. It could be for the ability to play, their diplomatic skill, their personality, their leadership ability, or whatever. Basically this is a way to give more people props who deserve it.

I will take each suggest as a sort of vote, and update this top part to reflect it. When you cast a suggestion please list your reasons.

DR - Norach for reasons state previously.

DV - Sumner, he pisses a lot of people off, but he has conviction.

HTW - Syrah, he always seems to have it together.

eHorde - Couldn't say, i haven't had much contact with them recently.

ROA - Hightower, because he has a lot of integrity.

Cult - Kreger, does a good job of running Cult.

FF - Mattaus, i've never really talked to him, but have heard good things about him.

D*D - rumplehumpalot, he doesn't like to take crap, and i think he'll always do what's best for his tribe.

GRIGNR - No contact with them.

OTB - kuzo :)

_KOH_ - never really had any contact with KOH players

PDM - Big_Ben ;)

B.I.A - Indigo

DR - A little punk like me on the mid-rim doesn't interact with [DR] much, but I've found that I usually like what Cyrano has to say on the forum.

D.V - Ender_wiggin, for his willingness to teach anyone to become a better TW player.

HTW-R - Syrah, for getting rid of the freaky accountant monkey in favor of the gun-wielding chimp. :lol: Seriously, I respect him a lot. I learned a lot about this game just listening to what he has to say here on the forums.

eHORDE - I interact with these guys even less than [DR], as not only am I a mid-rim punk, I'm in the north. So, I'll have to pass.

ROA - Why o why did you guys have to merge... do I pick Hightower or Plamya? Screw it, I'm voting for both. Hightower's one of the few people playing this game even older than me, and he's an aggressive and honorable guy, who also has a sense of humor about things and approaches this game in the proper spirit: a bunch of friends come together to play a game of Risk or Axis and Allies over a few beers. It's okay to be mortal enemies in-game and still make friends and joke around out of game. And, Plamya is... well, PLAMYA. :icon_biggrin:

CULT - I suppose I should abstain here, but I'm not, and instead cast my vote for eraine, who simultaneously had to fill Seraphia's shoes when she disappeared, while trying to organize the Cult family into something much more efficient than it was before, despite a lot of stiff resistance from many leaders in Cult, all the while getting battered by the erstwhile PTT-NW at the time. Kreger rightfully gets props for commanding this crazy organization, but a lot of what Cult accomplishes simply would not happen without her efforts to make us so much more cohesive.

FF - Mattaus is a respectable fellow, and you make a grave error in ignoring what he has to say. I've been friends with FF members from before their tribes became AOD affiliates, so it's hard to choose for me, so I'll settle for the guy that welded it together.

D*D - I just haven't interacted with these guys enough to pick anyone.

GRIGNR - By far the best in-game profile of any tribe (It's the "zzzzzzkrrrrr" part that always gets me), plus bonus points for the Kingdom of Loathing inspired tag... I just haven't interacted enough with them to pick out a player in particular, despite my proximity to several of their members.

OTB - Kamarah. You guys can say what you will about OTB, but he's a guy who knows how to play this game.

_KOH_ - The only person I've interacted with in this tribe is now in D.V, so I'm going to have to abstain.

PDM - Big_Ben, for destroying the Union with a word. "Usul no longer requires the weirding module." :icon_wink: I think a lot of people around here are too hard on family tribes, but the Union is certainly a compelling example in favor of their arguments.

B.I.A. - siddarth has done a remarkable job with that tribe out there in K42. As my tribe and his come into more frequent contact, I'm hoping to make friends out of them, rather than foes. He's a good leader who has a good core of players.

With regards to everyone else you are bloody mad putting me on so many of those; there are far more sigificant players in HTW-R behind the scenes... Im just the big monkey who puts his head above the parapit more than most :)
