OMG HOW HAVE WE NOT GOT A THREAD LIKE THIS?!?

right after lunch i will post some of my favourite songs and bands, and you guys do the same. would be interested in finding new music, and seeing what you guys like.

some more commercial ones:
Metallica
Iron Maiden
Nightwish
Manowar
Deep Purple
Led Zeppelin

and some which i like, but many people will find them as crap:

Ensiferum melodic death metal they really own, awesome :icon_cool:
Amon Amarth melodic death metal
In Flames melodic death metal
Megadeth thrash metal
Windir black metal
Cradle of Filth kind of black metal
Blind Guardian folk metal

i may add some more if people will be interested....
if anyone likes same kind, i am asking him to add some of his "good bands", so i will try if i like their music...

the following are more punk rock.
rise against
anti-flag
billy talent

the rest are metal

as i lay dying
all that remains
avenged sevenfold
nightwish.........well not really metal, but meh
protest the hero
parkway drive


these are all i can think of at the moment will add more, and will post links to youtube if i find out how to. lol lord rok you seem to have good taste in music, will have to look some of them up.

Talking about music, when i was 19-15 years younger i only had music around me. More of a pop lover untill i came across this awesome song/Band that change my whole attitude towards music and since then i only like the sound of guitar and strings.

ehh, i see...
well, i preffer old metal, or something deep like viking metal... which is quite melodic, but brutal...

well, i dont like Black Sabbath too much... their first 2 albums are good but from there on... they are not good any longer...
and about Judas Priest, which are very old as well, they have few great songs, but not as many as bands i listed

I love it lol...also if your into the music morethen lyrics like i generally am then check out 12 girls band. its different but a real treat.

Black Sabbaths first album is by far one of my all time favorites :)

As for judas preist they are a great band aswell... ive seen them live a few years back at an ozzfest and tbh before that i wasnt a fan of them really...but after seeingthem live I was blown away that after all these years they sound so good and put on a great show. Also there new album is Amazing...Its a themed album based on the story on nostrodomus (typo), the entire album plays straight through and there new tour is playing this album which i want to go seee so bad lol




p.s. im just trolling and happened to see a trhead in the overview of worlds titled music and came rushing in :icon_redface:
