Hey Everybody,
While our leaders stubbornly attest that their particular tribe/alliance is winning, a good deal of the tribal underlings have their own differing opinions of how well the war is going, opinions that might even be considered blasphemous. The thing is,
Or do they? I've had a hard look at things and realized that the people who "make" the tribe are not the leaders who think they talk on behalf of the tribe (well they're expected to, but let's ignore that for convenience, like how we study the bohr model when we know it's totally wrong).
What makes the tribe are the underlings. Yes, the underlings.
These little mice, who make up the lower echelons of tribal society (aka not part of the "aristocats"), are the ones whom we judge and jest, and whom represent their tribe's honour (often known as "n00b-calling"). For those who have trouble following, it means that the relatively weaker players who define the tribe they're in.
In that respect, I just want to say that you non-aristocrats actually DO have a say in the matters of your tribe.
You may be thinking, "butt Nagoo, teh dukks n barens are teh 1s who can kick ppl. Tehr word is law." Guess Again Illiterate Folk!
I have set up a little secret system where people get to have their opinions heard, free from any bias or instigation (for the most part), on any particular issue. This system is known as democracy, a rarely-used system in these forums nowadays. Of course, as I am the one who administers this, I'll be the supreme dictator who determines what issues can be fought over (rather ironic, I know).
So here's the topic at hand:
---------------------------Teh World1 Votes 2007-------------------------
Question1: Who do you want to lose in this war? (You may ONLY pick the choice(s) listed below):
(a)The lolliance
(b)T:V and Co's Enemy
(d) Blondie (As a third party aggressor whom the world is allied against)
Question2: Following the pitched battle between Caldwellowl and SPNirology, who should be banished from the forums?
(a) Caldwellowl first, followed by SPNirology shortly after
(b) SPNirology and Caldwellowl at the same time
(c) Blondie (always finds a way into people's discussions even those between Cald and SPN)
Question3: If Blondie is in the middle of a forest and no one is around, does he make a post in the forums that matters?
(a) No, this character you speak of does not exist (classic answer is that no one hears him, .: no existence in our minds)
(b) The anti response to 'Yes'
(c) "I don't, no"--> read as "I don't know"
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Not sure of how to vote in the forums of tribalwars.net? Please read below:
Instructions: Send full O armies to attack the following villages. Reports indicate that these may or may not be abandoned (to ensure "unbiased-ness") with an unknown number of troops (some useless reports, eh?)
Response "A" - Attack 610|280
Response "B" - Attack 586|248
Response "C" - Attack 600|237
Response "D" - Attack any village belonging to players whose names begin with "blond" and end with "eamon".
Forward the reports to Blondeamon (no coincidence there), my secretary. Note that each question requires a separate attack (make the distinctions for what you're voting for by mailing my secretary please).
So here's how votes are awarded:
Red Report = 1 vote
Yellow Report = 100 votes
Green Report = 10 votes
Blue Report = -5 votes(you cheapskate)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now that you realize that you do have a say, go out and start launching those O armies! Go Vote, and make your tribe (and mine) proud!
As an added bonus, smurf players who make a vote will get top recognition* from a dubious player such as myself, and possibly from everyone in my tribe (Whoa! Awesome). I expect everyone to vote (even the fence sitters).
These Elections will give an accurate representation of what people REALLY think. Even though players with the most O armies will definitely take home a bigger piece of the pie.
Awesome. I win.
Your Friendly Neighborhood Spy-der Man (that's right, I profess that I'm a man right from the get-go; no lies here),
MrNagoo
P.S - I'm not serious about this. No I won't be holding real elections, but I have to make this known now as it seems that some people have trouble taking this as some light-hearted propaganda.
P.P.S - In reality, I love Caldwellowl and his best friend SPN. I'm sure everyone does as well, to varying extents.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
500 people realize that this election is severely flawed, but send their O armies just the same.
